You read my mind, today I worked on turning my box around so it is firing forward, just gotta find some material to seal it off with. Considering how tall it is, I only have to worry about the sides since the top baffle is slammed against the rear deck. I also made a new ground spot which helped my voltage by some tenths. I still plan on sealing that hole up, just not in a rush now.

Sounds good, hopefully with all this construction going on around my city I can find a scrap piece of steel laying around but yeah I will check into that.

Naw didnt want to really waste any time or money and really havent had any time to do anything to it once I removed the vent, I just had to get rid of that noise. I emailed Rudy (Don) to get his take on this issue, im looking for the most effective methods whether they are cheap or expensive. If I can find a piece of metal then I can have a friend who welds do some work in my trunk.

I know I have been slacking on the audio side of things but it will be getting more updates soon. It doesnt have to be cosmetic appealing as it will be covered up eventually in due time and if not im wont be worried since it wont be scene really. Im looking for something to help with my drivers side of the car doing the wave, considering this vent is on the passenger side of the car. It seems as though I am loosing a lot of pressure from this vent hole.

Wow cant believe its been this long since an update, I actually started doing some work to the car finally. I had a horrible noise coming from my trunk and I thought I somehow damaged my sub, turns out it was just the rubber flaps slapping the plastic vent. I removed the flaps and vent and now I have this hole that I want to cover up. I know most people use deadener or foam, are there any more ideas you guys can come up with. I also removed all the carpet from my trunk area besides the trunk floor until I can make a permanent trunk floor covering out of wood.

properly sealing that hole? I know that's why I didn't do it... If you can properly seal a box up when building then I'm sure you should be able to properly seal a hole with wire running through it.

I like those Zed amps (nice collection), looking real nice so far.
-
I never had a problem doing it, do it right and use quality amplifiers then there should be no problem.
-
Im tuned in for this one

just got done removing the carpet and plastic vent in the trunk, now I need to figure out how to seal off the vent hole.
-
Id have to see it to believe it

Even with frame grounds I have heard where it helped to do a negative run from front battery to the rear battery. If you have the wire then go for it but if not then no big deal, you can never have to any grounds.

Haha same thing I was thinking, I doubt the glass itself will even crack or break.

Yeah I heard good things about those 4 channel nendo amps but suppposedly the new one's will be better. What made you decide to get add the seleniums, did they make a difference in sound compared to the O2 audio mids.
-
Where do you have your mids crossed at and how are your speakers performing off the nendo amp? I'm thinking of putting my sundown neo 8"s in the house and using some of these O2 speakers in the car. I recommended them to hove but never heard them myself.
-
All sundown speakers and subs come with the Sundown Audio logo, especially the Neo-Pros'. Go through the prototpe thread where Impious explained the difference in having an 8ohm vs 4ohm coil.

good posting

It certainly looks like something is amiss. Fail

2k amp isnt massive. :ughdunno:What good is is it cant see or hear anything. He isnt saying the amp is massive, thats the name brand of the amplifier. What a waste of forum space OP

Its not gonna work dude, just try it the way it should be from start instead of waiting time on building boxes. You cant create new laws of science, cancellation is gonna happen unless both subs and port are firing through the rear deck (simple as that). Now you can cut a hole in your rear deck like edouble101 stated above to allow more pressure in the cabin, thats what I would do now and see where that gets you till you make a better design. I dont understand why you ask us for our input on a design then when everybody is telling you otherwise you still want to do it your way. Personally since your seats dont fold down I would recone my 18" to a 15'' subwoofer, throw the sub in a 4th order bandpass enclosure that is ported through the rear deck.

Haha its funny you say that because it was on that option for like 30 minutes until I noticed it had more video modes

New sub stage - which would be louder?

Haha right? Have you been drinking Jon? I certainly have! no im working.. i just have a wicked memory .. almost 9 months ago he asked how to break into a honda civic.. i was going to tell him .. but then asked why... turns out his chick has a civic and does not want him monkeyin around with wires inside of it.. so she hides her keys every time she goes to see him... he thought it would be cute to break into it and install a stereo with out her knowing... so when this topic comes up and the install vehicle is a honda civic it does not escape me that its hers. The same thing I think about everytime he posts about a system for the civic, shits hilarious. -
Would it be safe to assume we could expect the same ETA for the 50.4 proto? Why not ask this in the thread that is about the new amps?

Incriminator Audio I Series 6.5" Co-Axial Intall in 07 Explorer

I like it, nice progress. I would be weary of representing your audio with a sticker since you already got jacked once, to me that is just advertising for thieves.
