Lethal Injection power handling
jcarter1885 replied to russelthalovemuscle's topic in Incriminator Audio
Haha, yeah put them on a 3500 and be my guess. Everybody gave you a straight forward response, read them without emotion and you will see a couple people gave you the answers you need. Ive seen BTLs take 4000 with no problem and i seen BTLs die of 2000 or less so whats your point. So if you have to ask then 10 times out of 10 doubling rms wont be in your favor and is pointlesd in a daily driver. -
Worthless thread is worthless

Lethal Injection power handling

If you have to ask then stick to rms rating plain and simple. Different factors call for different power levels, every install is different so what works for one person may not work for you and vice versa. -
Just fabricate a tweeter pod that covers both holes and flush mount the FT1 to the pod.

What power do the m3a and m4a amps put out, I keep seeing different numbers? Didnt mean to thread jack Optimus.
-
powerbass 5k is very strong and can be had at a nice price.
-
Wont notice a difference power wise, will come down to personal preference and price really.
-
Did you ever notice this sound with the Icon? Do you have another sub to try out on both amps? Also try turning down your lpf, 80hz on a 12db will not stop frequencies above 80hz from getting to your sub, it only attenuates them.
-
The tweeter is only rated at 80 watts and wont even need that much power really.

Its funny how most car audio problems are simple things that are overlooked, glad everythong is working now. Box looks good, how does it perform?
-
x2 unless your doing a boat load of mids per door, one pair of tweeters will be enough.

I always wanted to do a nice big saltwater setup, looking good man.

Not too shabby, congrats on that 150

subs not playing right, sound hollow
jcarter1885 replied to EPerez's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Sounds like a head unit issue to me since it worked fine with another source. -
Will it be the same size or smaller? Hopefully a little smaller.

Not downing your choice the Arc KS 900.6 is a bad ass amp, just curious why you didnt go the Zed Route. Im in the amp market myself, still deciding on 4 channel or 6 channel.

SSA Sub(s) having issue on lower notes, poor kay?
jcarter1885 replied to Sencheezy's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
This seems to be the issue. I believe this hit it right on the nose and I thank you for your input. I would also like to thank everyone who actually gave me suggestions on how to approach this problem. Today, I placed my subwoofer inside another enclosure that belongs to a local member, swift. And all seems fine, the subwoofer showed no signs of stress and sounded great. So the conclusion to this is that, in MY application, I could NOT use a larger enclosure. Swift will begin building my next enclosure soon. Good find, I learned something new today myself about enclosures. Glad you got it worked out. -
