That's true, and I agree no one helped him with the specific question, but it so so damn hard for me to help someone do something I KNOW is wrong. lol How is it wrong, what makes it wrong? Its not ideal to what you want or what most would do but why does it equate to wrong. Thats whats wrong with this forum, instead of helping people yall rather down them or not give any help at all. Focus less on rms figures since they are useless and focus more on making an efficient enclosure. Just make sure you get a reliable amp thats of some good quality.

You wont get the whole 3500 watts period, every amp has an efficiency rating usually between 70-85% (plus or minus some) depending on the amp. You will be amazed at how many watts your sub will receive from the amp and how much is turned into heat.

Just another mass marketed amp, does what its supposed to do.

Yeah it will sound better sealed vs ported because trunk cars dont have enough room to throw an 18" ported sub enclosure in them. Should of went with a 15" if you want a ported enclosure.

Thread wont be locked cause its a "vs" thread. You wont fit either in that trunk, look at a Fi SP4 15" or 2-Fi Bl 12"s. Usually more cone area and power compression is a plus in a daily driver but its not a factor in which will be louder. The only way to find out whats louder is to buy both and install then meter them in your install. Just flip a coin and go from there.

It wont matter, you wont hear a difference between either one. If budget is an issue then go with the Crescendo amp or flip a coin.

Why would I assume I fell asleep? It's a possibility. But highly unlikely. I was bright eyed and bushy tailed up until it goes blank. I'm not one to just doze off. A blow to the head can easily cause a small memory lapse but I thought that was common sense. It is common sense, but it is also common sense not to rule anything out since you say you honestly dont remember what happened. Nobody is bashing you, just trying to figure what happened thats all. Just cause your not one to dose off doesnt mean it cant happen.
