Epicenter Designs does great work, doors look badass

Vladd, you should enjoy these tweeters once you finally install them. I replaced my Crescendo Ft-1 supertweeters with these and I'm impressed. Their not as loud but sound 10 times better, the Crescendos just seem bright with no detail at all. Since I had no crossovers for the CSS Ert26s I used the Crescendos'(5,000hz @ 12db) to hold me over till I get proper crossovers. With that high of a crossover they still outperform the Crescendo Ft-1 tweeters in clarity and overall sound.

Any amp that does rated rms power at 1 or 4 ohms, considering you gave no budget its hard to make a suggestion for ya.

I wouldn't no matter what kind of deal, that's a lot of batts to replace if you do have issues. -
Beware! Skar Audio poor customer service
jcarter1885 replied to probillygun's topic in General Audio
x2 SSA is letting this Skar situation get out of hand, instead of tampering the forum with this nonsense just end his vendor license/contract. But at the end of the day, money is what makes the world go round. -

Hopefully you sand those edges down where the paint is because when you attach the top the glue won't bond correctly. -
Mine shipped out yesterday, cant wait to see these little guys. Thanks for the nice pictures

And what amps would you say are built better, just for my own knowledge. -
How do you like the tweeters in their new position? For the price I couldn't help but order a pair, should come in handy soon.

Same thing can be said about other big issues that have affected this country but if we brought all those to light we would be conspiracy theorist. -
Nothing really, as you can tell the subs dont come with a standard gasket so im sure thats the reasoning for them.

Not neccessarily true, there is a good amount of people who run more than 3k and dont replace an alt every 6 months. But a good battery bank is usually what they have to overcome that, buying a charger and charging your batteries often will help as well. True...... but he doesnt have that. No way you just add a single group 31 and think you can run two 2k watt amps strapped at 1 or even 2 ohms, and another 1k watt class A amp and think it will be fine. That mofo will draw like crazy unless he is gonna run the amps strapped at 4 ohms. But whats the point in that. When demoing you need a good alt, comps isnt that big of a deal because you can burp or handle 30 seconds without much issue if you have a big enough battery bank. I just know from what I have seen, you either need a overly large battery bank / stock alt or a mixture of battery and good HO alt. I just didnt see the point in advising him to add a second 100lb battery to the truck just to avoid a new alt, why have $1k worth of subs, $1200 worth of amps and not make sure electrical is up to par. My last bit of input on his setup is this. If it was mine I would A...... Run a group 34 under hood (agm) and 2 group 31's in the trunk and also a Charger to maintain them. or B.......Run the 34 under hood, one group 31 in the rear and a good Mechman HO alt. Then he can demo with more confidence, not worry about the stock one going out and when he is ready to add power, just add more batteries. Either way. OP you have a great build going on, good equipment and Rick and Alton will take care of you. I will be watching this build, the Zcons just get loud as piss and sound great. Good luck with the build!! So you say I shouldnt advise him to add a second 100lb. battery in the trunk but thats what you did in option A. Or maybe you didnt understand when I said add a couple of batteries, I was talking about the group 31s for the rear. Its not telling him to avoid getting an alt, its helping him to understand that he needs a good battery bank to run that much power since he doesnt want to or plan on getting an H/O alt at the moment. -

If your trying to avoid getting an alt then a couple batteries should suffice, use a volt meter and keep an eye on your voltage. I doubt you wil be able to set it to 3200 watts or whatever, battery reserve is nice unless you wanna damage equipment or become stalled on the side of the road. Not neccessarily true, there is a good amount of people who run more than 3k and dont replace an alt every 6 months. Same here, I'm surprised they haven't dropped in. Same here, I'm surprised they haven't dropped in. Cause they barely come on the forum and right now they are at CES or leaving. Im sure the dealers side of the story would be more entertaining as he is the middle man and seems to have more pull when it comes to their products than SSA does. -
Maybe you should take the bassheads over seas since they seem to have an easier job installing 100lbs. into a 6lb. bag
