My box for my old Saturn Ion was 35"w x 27"d x 14"h, man do I miss that trunk I still had room to spare. Your dimensions may be on the large side but then again I had the sedan and not a coupe like you. Just because the dimensions are available doesn't mean you can use every inch. Make sure you have room for amps and for the box to slide in and out.

Are you gonna completely redo your a-pillars or just try and cover the speakers with grill cloth to see if it makes a difference. Or will seeing the shapes in the a-pillars still make you believe speakers are there?

Reread the post, he has a h/o alt and Big 3 done already. Op put a battery in the back and you should be good to go. If you don't have a volt meter I suggest you get one, I wouldn't rely on the clip indicator on the bass knob.

Nobody can answer that question for you, but if you don't meet your goal then your install or enclosure is at fault.

You will get a better answer from Steve Mantz @ Zed Audio, I know he doesn't like low ohm loads so I doubt he designed the amp for a 1 ohm application. He is real good at responding to emails.

I leave the stock wire alone and just add 1/0 wire for my big 3. The only time I replace the stock wire is when its too old, falling apart or corroded real bad.

the big 3 is cheapest and should be the first electrical upgrade along with buying a volt meter to read voltage when system is on. Depending on stock alt size, listening habits, if you plan on adding an amp for interior speakers; I would suggest doing Big 3 Wiring and AGM battery for the rear.

they work in all boxes and do great in sealed box. What's your overall goal of the system, that besides space available and listening preference will determine what you in an enclosure.

yea i got banned for making a support obama gun control thread when one of the admin is a real hill billy gun nut they have alot of gun threads and maybe you're onto something the car audio forum tough guys are all old and way past any kind of beginner stuff so far past that they have no patience at all and by old i mean over 25 this sucks for us who are in the middle of nowhere and have barely any car audio help because these guys who are on forum all day have attitudes usually personally i cannot believe they allow the skar bashing here when it is sold in ssa store No one is bashing Skar--only showing the truth Either or it still looks silly and dumb, if the community doesnt like them and they dont serve a puprose here why allow them to sell online at the store. That's why it helps to research equipment before giving advice. Some amps have variable ssf and others are at a set frequency and slope

Get a DMM and pull the sub so you can read the ohm load

yeah I heard of them and use them all the time besides here or sonicelectronix.com. Look at the SSA Store, they also sell Sundown amps.
