Is it comparable to the Q or BL? i just want 1 12" sub that will sound nice and still get loud in a ported box. this is my first option. Or i would get 2 12" CV vmax. either would be powered by a kicker zx750.1(900rms) Opinions?

What specs should i use for customizing a box for a Fi Q 12"?

Total internal volume is 2.45 cubic feet

it gives me the option of slot or flared

so 2.3 cubic feet including sub displacement and port volume?

flared port or slot port?

ok what do you reccommend tuning the port to?

ported enclosure 2 cubic feet, tuned to 32hz. does that sound about right?

so it's agreed that the Q would be best? and with the BP option does it handle more power or what?

What do the different power options do? and im looking to get loud with a ported box, but still retain some kind of sound quality. mostly listen to music with the lower bass, but i want it to be capable of hitting higher notes too. just want a nice quality sub that gets loud and sounds good to go with my amp.

so with my amp would a 12" Q be better than a 12" SSD?

well what would you say the difference between the Q and the SSD is? besides power handling

listen to rap and hip hop mostly. want it to be loud, but sound good when it hits the lows too. ive heard 1 12" cerwin vega vmax 122, and bumps by itself, while retaining sq. so i was thinkin of getting 2 to go with the zx750.1(900rms)

ok, and does anyone have opinions on the new cerwin vega vmax 122's? i was thinkin of gettin either 2 of those or 1 12" Fi Q

so the bass in rap songs wouldnt sound better with the Q rather than the BL?

sorry meant the Fi Q. thats the one i want to go with because i want the better sound quality. and would a 2 cubic foot ported box a 32hz be good for the 12" Fi Q?

ya i listen to rap and hip hop, but wouldnt the Q sound better even for rap? or does the BL sound just as good when you listen to rap? and is the BL that much louder? or does it just hit the lows better?
