    First Impressions. Whoah.

I finally got the Q sub bolted down and in the back of my Scion Tc. Even though it's still going to take awhile to break in, I can already tell a difference over the two PG RSDc subs I had in there. I've actually got even MORE detail now and the bottom end is even more authorative. I was expecting to have to take a loss there, going from two subs to one. Not even! Another bonus is losing about 45 extra pounds from the trunk. I can't wait until she's properly broken in, then I'll get some vids up for you guys. Very, very pleased so far.

A fellow Tc owner! Nice. Too bad it wouldn't be as easy as just getting new springs. But hey, at least this is an excuse to get a Fi sub haha. Not like I really needed one. Here's some pics of my install if you guys are bored on a Friday. http://phoenixphorum.com/scion-tc-install-...uff-vt7515.html

Once I get it up and running, I'll definitely let you know. Right now, I've got the RSDc subs running off a PG Tantrum 1200.1 and I have to admit, they sound pretty damn good. I've had them in my current install for about 6 months now and their detail still continues to amaze me. However, all that weight...They're in a 2.6 cu ft sealed box with a double baffle. My rear shocks hate me...

Whoah. I mean, whoah. My Fi Q showed up today and I'm in awe of this sucker. It's built like a tank! I've been through quite a few subs and I think this single 12" might end up putting my two Phoenix Gold RSDc 12"s to shame. My main goal was to reduce weight in the back of my Scion Tc trunk while still maintaining some heavy punch. Here's some eye candy, including the custom 1.3 cu ft Fisher box I had built especially for this little monster. I can't wait to get it mounted and broken in. Thanks Fi!
