Hurt - Johnny CashOne of the most emotionally charged renditions of any piece of music. This one ranks pretty high on my list too.

still using my acer iconia (what I'm typing with at the moment) thing is pretty damn durable. no case, kids use it all the time, has even been thrown down a flight of stairs (about a year ago). still runs fine. I think I paid $170 Canadian for it. should be substantially less in the U.S.

Well, been a bit since last posting. So, time for an update. Started back at working out this time last year, with the goal of being between 195-200 lbs. Before I turned 30 (back in August). Was weighing in at 227 lbs 1 year ago. Glad to say, since a week before my birthday, I have been consistently in that range. Since September (both kids now in school), I have switched to a Mon to Fri routine, and working on tone and definition. Feels awesome. Just hammering some bicep/tricep for today. Feeling great.

And smell like...don't ask Mikey those questions about trannies, I don't think any of us have the stomach for his answer...

Dead on what i doMy big issue on one eye for hunting is that, many times I have the gun up waiting for the shot and my closed eye gets tired of being closed.I've gotten descent at keeping both eyes open which allows me to watch up close be be aware of my surroundings. Then, I just close my eye for the shot. How long are you keeping that eye closed? I scan with both eyes. Then close weak eye to acquire proper sight picture right before taking the shot. Having the one eye closed is for a minimal amount of time. This is both for hunting and the range.. When shooting multiple shot course of fire at the range, I will always open my weak eye between shots to prevent strainingy dominant eye.

Distance/optics are more the deciding factor. Depends on whether you can get the proper focus.
-
One eye for distance, both for close range. Rifles for work are iron sights (rear peep, front post). Only dominant eye open focus on front post. For pistol, more instinctive shooting, both eyes open, line up the posts and go. Hunting through a scope I use one eye.

So your saying cows should eat other animals.I think what he's saying is a diet shouldn't be exclusively one food, but contain multiple sources of nutrition. For a herbivore, that would mean multiple plant sources, grass, wheat, berries, leaves etc...

What do they drink up that way? Coors. They drink Coors.Such a crappy generic domestic beer. And pretty much all my father in law drinks. Now, as for the deer, they drink water.
-
Deer here live on the corn fields, it's a huge cash crop, and everywhere. Once the corn is off, they go for cedar and new branch shoots through the winter. In the the heart of the winter you can pretty much look straight through the bush, they'll strip everything from the trees up to about the 7 foot Mark. They'll stand up on their hind legs to reach if needed.

Not what I wanted to read while having my morning coffee. So sorry to hear Lee. Hope you can get back on top soon. Stay strong.

Spam and Buttwiper are the two top selling items at NASCAR races. Need I say more? And Americans love Nascar. Need I say more? And we've upped it from some people are dumb to 'Mericans are dumb.I've always maintained that "people" are dumb. Individuals can be smart, but "people" adopt the sheep/mob mentality far too easily and turn their brains off. Crowds are much easier to manipulate than the individual. Amazingly this even holds true to internet forums, just think of how many times you've seen the same misinformation regurgitated by "people" with little to zero experience. Unfortunately, politicians, governments, religions have all been capitalizing on this for centuries the world over. herding all the "sheeple" to do their bidding without any "individual" thought. Not just in America.

How Much Do You Throw At Your XCONs? (Daily)
nigel replied to Tyrell Wilson's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
By 4th order are you referring to 4th order vented, or 4th order bandpass? And if bandpass, why? -
Get out on bigger lakes, and there's lake trout, splake, rainbow trout. Some of the rivers have steelhead trout. A little drive north, and you can do salmon, and walleye.
-
Not really much else around these lakes worth keeping. Need much bigger/deeper water for trout. No walleye, it's pretty much small pike ( lots of little bones) sunfish, and bass. Bass in the 2-3 lb range are great tasting, and provide a decent pan size fillet. There are bass in the 4+ lb range in these lakes, but taste gets worse as they get bigger.

Well, been a bit since I've been on. Last Tuesday, the manager from the campsite we go to called us to say they have a seasonal site for us. Big "hell yeah" on that one. Pulled in Friday at supper time with the camper, and got it on the site. It's right on the channel from the boat launch to the lake... (Channel runs between two lakes, great fishing location) The kids can cast from the rocks right there at our site and catch & release small bass and sunfish all day. Got out on the boat with my father in law and the boys twice Saturday, I reeled 9 bass that were big enough to keep. And Wyatt (my youngest, about to turn 4) managed to wrestle one into the boat as well. Started raining last night, and rained all day today. Next weekend is a 4 day weekend, hoping for good weather for lots of fishing.

Just because your kids are being brats, that's not an excuse to cook them... Cannibalism is highly frowned upon in our society.
