HCCA's are good sub's but are very power hungry,weigh 100-120 pouns a piece and cost more than the DD subs..and to be honest the DD9515's will be louder! but it's what you choose and it's your money, just my 2 cents

I just ordered two Fi Q 15"s and i'm taking the 2 15"kicker cvx's out! My amp is the memphis 2500 or (Mojo) my car is a 97 honda civic... ok to the point will the Fi's be louder than the Cvx's in a big sealed box...ported is not really an option for me cause i'm leaning more towards a flatter response on low end and more towards sq!! but will the Q's still be louder than the Cvx's??? the box is 2.4 cub.ft per chamber! I know that your input on loud would be a ported box....but sealed which will be Louder?? Thank you

looking for the best of both worlds, from the two sets of subs!!

I'm stuck between these two setups?? i want the best spl and sq possible... i will be putting these in a sealed box around 2.4 cubic feet per chamber..i cannot fit a ported box for 15"s in my car!! so which will it be? 2 15" Fi Q's or 2 15" memphis mojo's the amp i have is a titanium 2400 1ohm stable!!

looks and sounds good bro, the only thing i can say is you should paint it a glossy black with a few primer coats on it so it will be real shiny and dark!! just my opinion...but it sounds good!

buy two cause crunch is overrated and 1 amp per sub is better...or just buy one big amp

well i was gonna say the voice coils are getting hot!! but new boxes have a smell especially when you start bumpin, nothing to worry about!

get the 1500 and if it's too much just keep the gains down, chances are if you buy the 1200 you will be dissappointed due to the fact it may not push it perfectly, not to say it wont make it move cause it will, but 1500 is a much better choice!

well both are good subs but the btl will be alot better in spl...but it says on the fi audio site that they do not have a warranty on the btl's you can check it out under warranty!! but the btls are pretty damn hard to blow considering they handle up to 4000 watts +!

Ok I have the CVX's on a 2400 watt amp..puts out 1700 (RMS) at 1ohm...They are in a pro Sealed Box sprayed with Bed liner (pretty solid) and each chamber has around 2.2 to 2.4 cubic ft give or take!! If i put the Q's in the same box what will be the Differences?? I know the Q's will be more clear and crisp sounding... Which will Hit the LOWS better? Which Will Be LOUDER? Would do a ported Pro box but cant fit one in my Trunk..so Sealed is the only option Here!

I know this may be a dumb question..but i believe a dumb question is one that was never asked!! so if someone would clear this up for me i'd appreciate it! ok my buddy just sold me his 15" fi Q dvc 1ohm... i already have a kicker cvx dvc 4ohm now i am gonna buy another fi Q but money is an issue right now and i need some knock right now so the question is if i wire the fi q down to 2ohms and wire the cvx to 2ohms will it be a 1ohm load or not? and why? i know they are different voice coils but 2 subs dropped to 2ohms=1ohm and my amp is 1ohm stable, would this work or will it fry my amp?

Hmmm, what was the tuning on the l7s? i believe it was like 35hz a guy sold it to me for 50 bucks he had it in a Tahoe and he built and carpeted it himself! Can you give us a definition of the word "low" in your own words? Well i may be wrong on this but i've already had some L7 12"s in a ported box and to me it doesn't hit as low as the sealed box does..that's why i'd wrather have a sealed box, and i wan't 2 15"s...Idk i'm kinda lost here...but i believe ported boxes sound better in trucks and suv's and sealed are better for cars!

well i guess i will have to go with the fi q's since i can't seal the ssd 15"s!! it says not to on the site but the 10"s and 12"s can be sealed! idk

I want some different 15"s that will not neccesarily hit harder than my CVX'S but hit Lower and Sound better... The box will be sealed around 2.4 cubic ft per chamber....can't fit a ported box for 15"s in my car and i already had two 12" cvx's in a sealed box at 33hz and to me it didn't sound good or hit the lows like i wanted... The cvx's hit hard but still not low enough and they lack in sq also So what subs do you suggest will fit my needs?? Thanks
