I have the 270s in stock and need about 5 days for the 390

I would copy and paste it but it would lose formatting, so here is the link to give everyone some insight about our alternators. https://www.dcpowerinc.com/dc-power-vs-competition

The problem with running small v-belt is the surface contact is poor and you will get bad belt slip. I honestly would not advise with going with anything smaller.

Glenn, If you check out the alternators on the website and type in your zip code you will get the total of your shipping charges and the alternators as well. https://www.dcpowerinc.com/category/alternators.html?make=Ford&model=Explorer&year=2004&engine=4.0L+V6 https://www.dcpowerinc.com/products/category/alternators.html?make=Mazda&model=RX-8&year=2004&engine=1.3L

390XP will walk over any of the alternators for idle output if you're really looking for that. The 390XP will actually do 200 at idle for like 15 minutes straight with no issues at 14v. The 270 will drop down a tad more (170-180) or so. If you're going best bang for your buck though, the 270XP is the best bang for your buck.

Ray, I am going to refund your money until I can get a hold of Robbie when he's back from vacation. You'll be receiving it soon.

Ray I will look into this tomorrow and if I can't get an answer from Robbie right away (he's on vacation) I will refund your money. I won't let this get out of hand. How did you pay?

That part number doesn't show anything on google unfortunately, can you please take some pictures for me? Thanks.

Honestly, we would not be able to complete that dual kit within this month. You're probably looking closer to 1.5 to 2 months for that kit minimum. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Yes, housing is drawn and will be made in our production run of XP billet frames. ETA is approximately 3-4 weeks if everything goes smooth. -
Kris we're working on the program to cut the larger size 6 groove pulleys for the Hondas. I will keep you updated. We just finished our proof for the GM 6 groove pulleys last week.

I will honor the pricing for you for $499. The reason for this change is our costs have gone up due to the Japan disaster which has gave us a lot of problems getting parts from Denso in Japan. The effect is just starting to hit everyone including Ford, Toyota, Honda etc. If our pricing changes again and becomes more stable we will adjust accordingly. I apologize for this.

PM me your phone number if you would please.

Checking now.

Unfortunately the 320HP and the 390XP are two separate animals. Nothing can be used besides the pulley to convert to a 390. I would recommend selling the 320HP online and then getting a 390XP. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

PM me your address where you want it shipped to. -
The 2009 is a direct fitment for the 2010 as well. I guess we missed that fitment. Sorry about that! We are currently out of stock on them though for about a month or so unfortunately.

The XP series alternator is a completely different monster. They are more efficient at producing power, have extremely good cooling technology and give you twice the diode capacity and over 6 times the rectification heat sink over a SP series alternator. Not to mention they are electronically silent so you will never hear engine noise due to the alternator. This is our little writeup on the XP series alternator page: DC Power Engineering’s Proprietary XP Series alternators are built on the world’s first SC (Segment Conductor) alternator design. The XP series alternators are 20 percent lighter and provide a 50 percent increase in output than a conventional wound alternator. This is achievable by using rectangular copper for its stator, which increases the density of the windings from 45 percent to 70 percent. These patented technological advances have made it possible to increase the generation efficiency by 10 percent to improve fuel consumption and performance. The XP series alternators are capable of producing a minimum of 150 amps at idle at 200°F and can produce as much as 200 amps at idle depending on the vehicle application thus producing as much as 70 percent of it's maximum output at idle. All of these breakthroughs in technology have allowed the XP series alternators to be the most reliable, durable and best performing alternator on the market.

Jerome, if you still want an alternator for the tahoe that you have then we can send you a 320SP in replace of it, however it wont be externally regulated as the external regulators have been out of stock for quite some time. If you wish to have it at 14.7 volts I can get one out to you pretty quickly. Let me know if thats alright with you.
