  2. By the way, Let me know when you want one of these bad boys 270 on the top end and 160-180 at IDLE not 800 rpm idle but IDLE on the bottom end.

We actually do have a 270XP for it as well does 160-180 at idle. If you're interested feel free to call me and we can either upgrade ya and pay the difference or walk ya through the pros of it
  4. He'll have to drive it, not just let it run. It will have to cycle through a couple open/closed loops to worlk everything out. Interesting cause everytime mine fixes it own in park. heh maybe im special
  5. Just let the car run and it WILL fix itself.

You need one of these: That is all.
  11. I honestly doubt it does 150 at idle. If it does, it wont do it for long. Overdrive pulleys are bad news cause they create tons of heat if they're small enough. I still stick to my alternator theory.

The real "truth" about idle output

Redirected to our blog cause i fixed everything on there
  14. The best rule of thumb is get a couple belts and get the one that barely fits on.. that way you have the best amount of tension. Then you can take a socket and put it into the pulley nut. Then from there, while having the belt on the pulley "tighten" the nut and you should see the belt go with the pulley. If the pulley is moving and the belt is staying in one location then you still have belt slip. Long term belt slip can also "glaze" a pulley and will require a new pulley.
  15. It could be the alternator. Just because it's "rated" at 220 amps doesn't mean anything. It honestly sounds like the alternator isn't able to keep up if the wiring is good.

    Why is it good?

Here is something we wrote up: https://www.dcpowerinc.com/dc-power-vs-competition Regardless of who you go with that explains a lot of things
  21. I apologize for not getting to your emails. I get about 30 emails minimum a day and I'm on the phone pretty much the whole day I'm at the shop. I'm usually the only person answering the phone too. It seems to be getting better but everyone is right for a prompt response calling is the best solution. I do try my best for being one person handling all the communications usually. We are in development for hyaundai alternators as we speak and plan on doing our best to bring our xps to that market.

  23. That would be belt dust. It will come back. Either tighten your belt up or get a new shorter belt
