Thanks for the feedback! Today is bright and sunny so I'll have more pics up tonight of the progress. The enclosure part is almost done. I just snagged a gallon of F/G resin from HomeDepot so now I can fill the flares to make them tough as nails! LOL
-
actually I think it's so green from all this rain! My yard is a swamp! LOL
-
Very nice idea on them tweets! O.k. I'm hooked!
-
LOL.. Yeah it's very annoying. As a matter of fact, it's raining again now and that's exactly what I'm doing is staring out the window and watching the weather radar...... I did make enough room in my shed so that I can get in there to do some minor details. Like filling screw holes and sanding on the port to get it ready for paint.

I bet that van has a small breath of relief ever since the 15's haven't been in there. Nice clean fit and design!

Thank you! This is only about half way on the enclosure too. The top is really going to be tricky. But, if it all goes as planned the I hope it looks cool and actually functions as desired. The weather could be a lot nicer too! This thing would be audible if it didn't rain the past two weeks off and on here.

Dodging rain storms here but I did manage to get a few more things done....
-
Lookin' good!

Nice job on them pods so far!
-
Thanks everyone, for all the compliments about the enclosure so far! Oh, an the grass too........
-
From his description, it sounds like it wouldn't take long to sweep the floor...LOL He's kinda like Yoda when it comes to enclosures.
-
I got a little bit of time to do a few things on the enclosure today. Notice the dead pine tree is now gone, and yes........the grass got cut too! (for those who were concerned...LOL) Time to play with the screamin' router!!! I'll do the other one tomorrow, and try to get all the internal bracing done.

Once that port is painted she's gonna look nuts!

That was good! -
It's fertilized with mdf dust, that's why it's so green. Just wait till you see it when it's mowed!
-
drill before, the holes are there for aid in the air pockets rising to the surface when filling with F/G resin. Thumpper, I like how you're using wider ports now on some enclosures. It's a little harder to handle when putting it in the enclosure (I know) but it looks so damn cool!!!

Hello Mr. Komant ! Check out my port cleavage.... Here's a part that will never be seen again once the bottom's on. LOL Check out what showed up today !!!! MechMan 270amp H/O Alternator (large case)

Well, I decided to finish the most time consuming panel, the last flared port wall. I only got to cut everything and shape it for tonight. Hopefully I'll get some more time in the next few days, the weather is supposed to start to clear! I almost have a gallon bucket of some good dust so far. That's just what I've bothered to save for filling screw holes!

I just got home from work, Checked the weather radar, it's nasty looking outside but radar is clear!!! Let's go cut some MDF!!!! It better not sprinkle when I'm out there, I'm flying solo on this install and this box is starting to get a lil' heavy! LOL Pix later!
-
Isn't that fun!!! It has to be one of the worst stages of a good install, when you start sticking mat....... I always get the crap all over me, stuck on the bottom of my shoes,ect... LOL Looks good though man!

Nice! -
Nice stuff there!

Right? I have been trying to guess what it will look like done. Bring that thing inside to the kitchen table and get it done already. LMAO! I tried! the ole' lady put the nix on that as soon as it came out of my mouth! LOL I watched the radar all day....(the race too) and I couldn't catch a break long enough to setting up the horses... I'm itching to get this done. I haven't even had the H/U on since my old H/o alt. crapped out 2 months after my last install. Plus I just picked up some Lexan for a detail to be shown later! It's already taken up 3 sheets and I need to get a fourth for the top, plus another gallon of F/G resin to coat the inside of the flares. NTM my dang windshield has a split across the bottom AGAIN!!!! This was off a salt truck this past winter.....
