Yeah that'll work for the BassRace I think but not the DB Drag....(or the other way around....)
-
Either or..... I'll have both on hand, 16 gig flash drive (mp3), and a box of original recorded cd's. Oh, an I-pod too.

How is everyone running their H/U? From inside, outside via remote, or long harness H/U outside? -
Talk about OCD cleaning! LOL I'm the same way. But it's hot a HUMID so it's hard to keep motivated.... I may still be cleaning after I get to the show!

Anyone bringing a laptop? I have 16 gigs on a flash drive, maybe we can share and trade?
-
You know I will! LOL If it happens and isn't caught on video then I'll be pissed! With all the cameras that are going to be at the show, there should be several different angles!
-
LMAO... Yeah I guess that would be a bright side to it..... The drive home might suck, I may need to buy some goggles! LOL I pressure tested it today, It split another 12 inches and won't split anymore. Unless, I really push with my thumb..... I hope it at least holds to get on the meter. After the show I get a free warranty replacement, so whatever happens happens! My remote for the H/U won't work on a severe angle. (like out the windows) I contemplated wiring up a long harness for the H/U to run outside the truck but that'll take some doing...... Any thoughts on how I could work my way around this issue?

X2 Welcome to the forum! -
Big time bummer!!! The new windshield that I just had installed has a stress crack from improper installation! They can't replace it right away because the seal hasn't cured all the way. I was told if they pull it out now there will be some nice Dow sealant strings all over the inside and outside of my truck. I figure to hell with it, they know about the flaw so I'm gonna try to crack it all the way during Slamology!!! If it's not one thing it's another.........

Trevor your builds are outstanding! Always coming up with some sweet ass designs. You're like our Willy Wonka, only with mobile audio...... People would pay just to sit and watch you work! -
Helps with port noise and it just looks badass. Oh yeah, throw some high gloss lacquer on there as it looks almost plastic...

I get off work at 3:30 so after I get cleaned up a little I'll be on my way there for the Friday speed pass. It takes me 45minutes to an hour to get there so....I'd say I'll be there around 6 or 7est. Is Indiana still an hour behind Ohio? LOL DST? I always get confused being so close to the state line. -

In a roll over accident,(if God forbid it would ever happen.....) You'll want to use metal to secure the batteries. 60+ pounds isn't something I'd want to rip my head off in an accident. 12 or 14 gauge for the pan and strap should be fine. I have pics of a shelf I made for on my enclosure in my build log. I made it out of 3/16" black iron plate. (just b/c it was a shelf)

RF T1500BD or Stetsom 1K5
Jay-C76 replied to lazeris's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
I have 3 R/F T1500-1bd's, They are nice amps. Well built. Great power ratings. Here's my two cents if I was going to throw down some money....... R/F's slim T1500-1 needs an external fuse. No built in cooling fan, which is needed on these if ran at one ohm....(found out the hard way) Are capable of producing well over the 1500rms wattage listed at 14.4 volts. Stetsom V series has a small amp as well, Built in cooling fan (as I can tell on most models) Also needs external fuse. Priced cheaper than the R/F models. (as far as MSRP is concerned) The V series is rated around about or way higher rms wattege than the R/F models I've ever seen... If it were my money, I go with the Stetsom V series.... -
LMAO!!! I break some fingers for that one...... It didn't sound like something you'd say...

If you were gay the shit should flow easier....LOL (joking) What's wrong with the set up?
