big>pac... Well i wouldn't say that, 2pac made a lot of good songs, and biggie is great. I think they are on about the same level. -

Trea is a good rapper... Eggyhustles, why does he sucks? did you hear the song? -
That has me thinking, i have never tried to see how much amps 0 guage wire can support without getting too hot.(200 degrees fahrenheit) Most people or companies that sell wire say a number between 250-350 amps.(so that's why i thought to not put more then 350 amps to 1 run of 0 guage wire.) But you're probably right.
-
Umm....what? Not sure how you are arriving at that conclusion or that correlation. Crack? maybe, don't know why i wrote that yesterday.
-
That probably has something to do with box rise, not enough current to support the amp. Wrong way to test how the amp performce, bad grounding, gain isn't set correctly. But there is one thing i want to know, how come the 14k only has 1 input for pos and negative wire? Since it can pull from 600 to 1200 amp of current? (and most 1/0 wire can only supply 300A-350A of current for continous periods.)

Euhm, wtf. (they maybe look the same on the outside, but i don"t think they are the same on the inside of the motor, and it has differen soft parts) And the Level 3 has more BL and bigger xmax.(and probably more power handling.) Higher BL and more Xmax means it has more potential to get louder. The Re SX has lower Fs, and Lower Qts, which means it has mre potential to sound better. The Dc level 3 will sound good, even real good if u make the right box for it.(and it should be more then loud enough, is it's for SQ...) lvl 3....upgraded SE? lvl 4...upgraded MT? Upgraded mt? The MT's can handle 3-3.5k watts or even 4k in some hands, the LVL 4 can't.(the level 5 can.)

Extreme Overkill Sound Deadening Without Compromise

They keep sound in or out. I would LMAO if it would rattle. -
No, it won't help you because you don't want a fart box i think? How much power do you have? I would suggest 2.2cu ft with about 40-44 sq inches of port area tuned to 34 hz if u want to get loud and be 'somewhat' musical.
-
WHO WOULD WIN? SSA XCON 18" VS FI BTL 18" VS digital designs D
kirill007 replied to mikemihai's topic in Sound Solutions Audio (SSA®)
i was tuned at around 32-33hz. if i tune lower would that make it better for rock and techno house music while making it less as good for rap? Tuning lower= less higher bass, more low bass. I like the kickbass more if a encosure is tuned low. But it wouldn't sound good for techno and house music. Better Midbass would probably make everything sound better. -
LI-12 or SA-12? which one better for me?
kirill007 replied to Tony Nelson's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
a little bit biased huh The Fi Q is also a sub that get's down in a sealed box and it's also loud. But i don't know if u could hear a difference between these 3 woofers.(ICON VS Fi Q VS IA LI) -
LOL at this guy above me (808VIP) The 9510 isn't a sub he would use in his application, since he doesn't has a lot of space to work with and the mounting depth of the 9510 is too deep i think.( especially if he wants 2 of them)
-
I dont do DB Drag so sealed dont mean shit to me. But to humor you eventually I might get around to that Ow, so you play music with the door open?(while driving, and probably put you're head on the dash or windshield or in the kick huh...)
-
LOL, does it really says so? And if u turn you're box around and seal it off you will lose all the trunk rattle and maybe even gain Db's.

Running one voice coil on DVC sub ok?
kirill007 replied to mr.sagat's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
Yep, no problem to use the woofer with only one coil as long as you know the Pe drops(=thermal power handling), and the Qts and a other Q parameter changes. And you also get less motor force i think. -
15'' BL fully loaded suddenly acts weird, please read
kirill007 replied to mikemihai's topic in General Fi
I come up with 5,823cu ft Gross and 1.15162037 cu feet as port displacement. So that makes 4,6714 cu ft after port displacement. And then also remove the sub displacement which makes it 4.46cu ft NET. So the enclosure is a bit on the big side.(Maybe if he has a lot of bracing it could take up another 0.5cu ft.) 1.1516 cu ft is the port displacemt with 72sq inches tuned to 31hz. EDIT:(i won't contribute to this thread anymore because people say i'm wrong..) -

Why didn't someone bought me a cnc router yet? That is a nice design, i like it a LOT. -
Why would you want a second one? If u don't have a Oscope to set up the amp and don't how to overpower speakers (without blowing them ), then i wouldn't suggest it.

Running Strapped Amps at 1 ohm?
kirill007 replied to imhungnurnot's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Not to keep it above 13v, never seen a batt that floats above 13v with a load attached to it. (But more/bigger batteries do help to keep it above 12V.) EDIT:( i would like to see a non 16v batt to float above 13v, i have never seen it, but doesn't means it doesn't exists) -

What are those dimensions in relation to? LxWxH, WxHxL, WxHxL, you get the point. Don't think it matters if u calculate it with pen and paper and calculator.(but with a program i see why.) It does matter, while any way you do it gives you the same gross volume. It matters on which way to determine how much volume the port takes up, each way the slot port volume would be different when figuring it and in some ways the slot port won't work for the box. Euhm, no he said the specifications of his port which is 4x18, so that's 72sq inches of port area.(and if u have the port area you can determine the lenght and then multiply the lenght times it's port area) -
Running Strapped Amps at 1 ohm?
kirill007 replied to imhungnurnot's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Battery doesn't has anything to do with keeping the volts above 13V, the alternator does. If u can't manage to keep the voltage steady at 14V or more at this moment.(without strapping at 1 ohm) I wouldn't risk it.(but it's you're equipment, do what you want, all we can do is advise. ) -

And X2 on losing the cap. Caps are most of the time useless and just a waste of money, and if u don't have money to spend, then don't spend it on a cap. Spend it on a small battery instead.(like the kinetik HC600-hc800) -
I think the microphone on the camera is really good, you can hear the bass clear and it doesn't really distorts.

Turn the bass boost off... EDIT:SPLguy, why would you want nasty power? That just means clipping=shitty SQ -
how much power can i throw at at fully loaded BL 12???
