LOL, you didn't read the sarcasm very well. And 4dB can be a retarded difference. Depends on what levels you are comparing. You can be right (i don't know for sure.) but there is also a decent roll-off (bass frequencies) below 40-50 hz.

You do know you're ears have a freqeuncy response? >< And you're ear's roll off at a quite low freqeuncy, about 29-30 or higher or lower, depends on the person. So still; if 25hz was louder, it could sound quietter then 6db's less on 50 hz. And most movies i watch, frequencies go below 20hz.(helicopter flying by...explosions...) You don't hear it because u don't have enough pressure at low freqs, or you're ears are not so good.

148 still isn't 150 am I really trying to get a 150 though? Or am I trying to feel people out to see what really is impressive for a cheap daily driver at 25Hz? Cuz over the last few days this has been fruitful. I have found theres always goign to be the rude comments, and the people saying 150 is easy and can be done for $2k, but the majority say 148 @ 25 is very good period, let alone chap, let alone daily driver. Sure the thread is titled "what will it take to get 150" and if your stuck on that, stay stuck. I think the better question is why 25 hz? If music doesn't play it, why make it peak there? Is there a new pissing match I'm unaware of about who can peak at the most useless frequency? Does it matters why he wants it to peak at a low freq? I don't know why you are ranting about it. Tejcurrent, he uses ib subwoofers. They won't perform properly in a ported box. Best bet would be to sell it and buy 4 BTL's and try again by using a good ported box.

Iraggi even has a video on youtube where he shows over 1200amps worth of alts and they test out at lower then 100 amps, because 100 amps is the max that thing can read. And iraggi alt's aren't bad at all, nor do they break down fast.

Thaha die is goed nederlanders eh... xD To complete that mission, you need a good amount of cone area. 4 18 is a good place to start, 4 15's will work too. And a horn would be huge... Just use a normal sized box with lot's of port and 22-23hz tune. Wall off and use the correct techniques to build a good box/wall.

BL, because you're goal is probably to get as loud as possible. The normal 3 inch version will be louder on that power.

Im gonna try to explain it simple. If u have 4 'crappy" speakers playing at the same time you get the choir-effect. If 4 voices sing together they will sound quite better then 1 alone. Same with speakers... If u have 2 "good" speakers it willl sound better then 4 "crappy" ones, because u won't have any problems with sound-delay making everything sound bad.

He is just pulling the wiring thru the firewall. This is not permanent. Just changing out old wire.

SSD will be louder then the Q under perfect conditions, but 1200w is quite a lot for the SSD daily.

(And not to add, some amps produce more power, stay cooler, look better,have less distortion at a certain power level,...blablabla)
