Those aren't accurate enough. You need the thickness of the coil, the exact inner and outer ID.(keyword is exact) Heigh is something you already have. And maybe also measure inner and outer ID of the gap.

The closer you get to the max output the more distortion is created. true, so let him run it at 1500w at 1 ohm and tune it to 1500w with a dmm.(i don't know how you set gains.)

Use fiberglass and resin. Not just resin.

Fiberglass adds strenght and seals it up. But the titebond(=woodglue) should already seal it up and the bond is stronger then the MDF itself. Liquidnails doesn't has that strong of a bond. EDIt: you kind of didn't take the time to do it right. Have you sanded down the resin?

M5, some people have totally different goals then you. They just want the max out of their amp at run it under a rated ohm load and want that last watt out of the amp or they feel like they haven't done enough effort to make it sound loud.

The LMS will play lower then the xcon in perfect conditions, but it will handle less power.

Lol at the comments in this thread. The T2 is a good sub, but not made for SPL at all. It doesn't even has a aluminium cone anymore It has a good buildquality so it's not a POS at all. But the BTL is better for his goals. EDIT: Jack3d SPL The info you got is very wrong. THey don't need a lot of attention, as much as any other sub.

BILTD i have a question. Do you use the silentcoat 2mm or 4mm? Did you get better results with silent coat or second skin? (i mean less loud on the outside, less flex,..)

I'd expect it less loud. The audiopipe is rated at 1 ohm. the MTX amp is better quality and puts out more at 2 ohm.

But there are TOO many factors arent' there? I mean, If I was to build a box, tuned to 32hz, and lets say everything stays the same. Ok, if this box peaked at ohhh 38hz. So now that I know that my vehicle peaks at 38, I decide to build my box tuned to 38hz. Will my vehicles freq still peak at 38hz? He asked for peak frequency. LED is not just a gimmick. It gives a better image then normal LCD's, colors are more true and better contrast.

Fi is a business, i don't think they will warrentee it. You intended to overpower it, and you did, maybe by "only" 500watts but you overpowered it.(that's just the way i see it, maybe they'll do it.)

They perform excellent in sealed enclosures. If you want to use them in sealed boxes, i recommend adding the "high Qts" option. Built the box to FI specs and it's all good, just try to be in the middle or the lower side of the box size.(smaller if you don't listen to low music and want to use full 1000W or a bit more, altough i won't recommend more)
