    12" Fi Q

Yes.. It would be slightly underpowered, but it will still sound good.

    Full tilt?

I think he was asking what the phase does.

    sub decision

Agreed! Sundown is taking preorders for their new 3500D. The BTL's would still be underpowered, but way more power than the ZX2500. This would probably be the best bang for your buck, not sure if you're willing to wait for the 3500D to come out though.

    I LOVE my highs......

Yeah, the CLs are just fine. Its certainly not their high end stuff, but I've heard good things about even those. I have some extra CL-62s I never used, I'm sending to a friend soon. We'll see how she likes em. Let me know how the active setup turns out. I thought about doing an active setup on my front stage CDTs with a SAX-100.4

    12" Fi Q just arrived...

Ok Rob, see, for that, it looks like you take 1 piece of wire, which is positive and negative, and run them to themselves on the sub, then another piece of wire from sub to enclosure. Is that right? So then in each of the coil, one positive one negative, theres another piece of wire. I would need 2 wires correct? Just want to be clear, installing this tomorrow.

    12" Fi Q just arrived...

I just got my 12" Fi Q. This is my first quality subwoofer, hooray! Just a quick question. On both sides of voice coil, there are + and - springs, total of 4. This is dual 2 ohm, wiring down to 1 ohm load. It is my understanding to do this, you run positive wire to positive, from one coil to the other, then negative to negative. But then, what? How does it hook up to the enclosure. Do I run the wire in parallel from one side of sub to other, then run a wire from one side into the enclosure? I looked for diagrams, but none were clear exactly how I run the wire from sub to enclosure. Thanks in advance.

What model CDTs have you heard? Had always heard really good things about them, so I bought them when I saw the sale and I really like them. Granted, I wouldn't pay what they retail for, they aren't that good.

I want it to sounds decent as well. lol No one seems to really be offering actual speakers. I have a pair of 6.5" CDT ES-620. I love them. They produce good clean sound, and can get nice and loud. Woofersetc.com has a liquidation sale going on right now. My speakers are retail $839.99, and I managed to get em for $279 (though the site lists $349). I would recommend the ES-620Z for $399. The crossover setup has their Upstage technology. Had I not gotten such a good deal on the ES-620 set, I would have opted for the ES-620Z. I just run stock rear fills, I don't really care about rear fills. 12" Fi Q goes in this Thursday, I don't think I'll have any need for them. Just my two cents.

    Need New Comps.

What kind of car? What can it fit (size of speakers), can it do components? Are you using all 4 channels of the Sundown, you can go with an active setup if using just 2 channels?

    Front Stage Amp

Yup. TMA T320.4, and the sub, TMA T12S4P (12" Single Voice Coil). Along with 8awg wiring, no need for that anymore.

If it's from dB-r you will in good shape. They are the authorized Sundown repair center. Good deal... he's fairly local too.

How do you guys feel about refurb products? I found a SAX-100.4D for $325. Yes, he's authorized.

    Front Stage Amp

Jake started off with the 100.2, and that was so underrated that he changed the name to the 125.2. So you're saying I will get true power out of it, 125W x 2? Yes you are correct. OK, thanks. It seems that the consensus is for the SAX-100.4. This is a little over budget, but I will definitely consider it. Does any one at all recommend the SAX-125.2?
