Attempting my first enclosure build, What do I Need
Mac N Cheese replied to Divinemind999's topic in Fi Technical
you can make it as difficult as you want it. Just take your time and do it right the first time pre drilling is your friend so use it. The easiest way to cut out the diameter for the subwoofer is to use a jigsaw/router. To make a perfect circle take the radius of the cut ID. then get a scrap piece of wood and drill a hole through it, then measure the radius over and drill another hole. -
your going to need more electrical equipment to back that up. (HO alt, batteries, etc)

Where to contact DC Power?
Mac N Cheese replied to joe_prince's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
don't be fooled by there website. They make alot more alternators than just the ones posted on the dcpowerinc.com. There is a phone number on the top header of the website. Thats the fastest and easiest way to contact them -
that magnet looks like a tank

Majora's Mask here i come...Zelda Ocarina of time will have to wait

I no exactly what you are going through, numerous testing to find out the problem. Taking the sub in and out, checking fuses, connections....it starts to really get frustrating. Just hang in there and it will be all worth it in the end.
-
the only reason i was thinking this was the problem was because something along these lines happened to my 3000D. It would cut in and out (didnt matter what volume i had it at). I checked grounds, connections, sub, and then i tried a different amp and it worked fine. I contacted DB-r and told him and he new what the problem was right over the phone. the little boxes covering the mosfits would wiggle...that's what would cause the issue

thinking about another summer vacation but without driving! transportation= train? anyone have any experience? thanks
-
Very good points! I personally don't use the remote. Better to set the gain on the amp and leave alone. OR the remote could pop out of the cord and just a thought....

do you currently have another amp you could swap out with? this will determine whether or not its the amp. If the other amp works fine then i bet its the mosfits located by the RCA inputs
