Powdercoating is usually the cheapest optoin just found a couple places where i am located. Seems pretty reasonable. They estimated $65 per rim. Not to shabby Still need to do alittle more research to see if thats the way to go

yes it would be perfect. These were designed by the owners of Fi Okay thanks a lot man. How much do you think it would cost? A rough estimate around $45. A sheet of MDF is about 30 bucks. As long as you have decent tools its rather easy -

as long as your gain is set accordingly I dont see why not. Its mostly the person behind the knobs why you see the woofers go poof
