Is it likely that I'll get good results with large format tweets mounted in the stock kickpanels firing straight across to the other side of the car? I've seen a number of people do it with midranges and some with tweets, and these were SQ competitors so I'm just wondering. Mine sound like poop on the dash firing across.

Agreed on the P4's sucking. My P4 gets hella hot, so the fan is going crazy a lot of the time. 512mb ram is ok, but I would prefer more. I see you want a 17", so I'm guessing you're going for more of a desktop replacement?
