I'm just trying to design a new box for a 93 civic hatch. Just wondering if anybody has any suggestions for me. There will be 3/4'' all-thread rod for bracing. The box is for 4 12'' pioneer premier ts-w3002spl. It will be in a wall config. subs on driver side port on passenger. all thoughts are welcome. This is what i got so far.. http://memimage.cardomain.com/ride_images/3/3224/1061/33058030018_large.jpg

i've been looking but can't really find to much about these subs enclosure and port sizes but i will keep searching

x2, dont wall the hatchback man (we had a topic on walling a crx and its just useless, you will get louder without the wall). how so all i keep hearing is that a wall is best shouldn't it be louder with less airspace to fill with sound or pressure.

it's for daily but i would like to compete as well i was originally thinking of making some sort of changeable port currently i run 4" abs pipe which i change from a set of 30hz to 40 hz and im not too sure about the airspring technology but this will likely help you. My link i appreciate the help.

First off managed to pick up a 93 civic hatchback for 700 bucks and I would like to know what type of set up would be best, like port direction, sub direction, box style all opinions welcome as i'm pretty sure someone here would have done something like this already.

I've heard that using wax might help with heat for aluminum not sure if it will help here.

If you can't find it slowed you can use the original and the program Audacity and slow it yourself to any speed.

i know the box set up is ugly but it's the enclosure i had used for my olds aurora its actually 2 boxes put together ...very ugly but work well. Why does everybody hate subs inverted does it actually make a different sound or anything? Do you mean subs up passenger side port back? Everything is as for back as i think they can be without choking off the ports. How much port area do you suggest and what tuning works well in a hb?

thats all the manufacturer recommends and i havent been able to find out anything regarding port area as i thought i needed more, please help if anyone knows how much more would be good.

Please help, need enclosure ideas looking to break 150 while still being able to listen to music. I'm running a pioneer premier 3000.1 temporarily but will be changing over to hifonics cyclops. Any ideas would be helpful as i was debating a wall but am not sure what would be best. Have tried so many boxes that i'm tird of killing trees...PLEASE HELP!!! Thanks.

im not too picky as to positioning because right now i have a 14.5 cuft enclosure @29hz where my back seats used to be. as for sound deadening soon and ive never heard of porting to trunk. I was hoping to use the equipment i already have but will change if needed because its all about the bass!!
