Subtotal: $74.06 Xover parts and all...getting to be expensive.

IM tired of my crappy computer set up, im thinking of building my own as i colect pocket change, budget will probably be ~$50 for speaks and tweets and ill probably do one 8" or even a 6.5 for the sub. Any ideas? ive been skimming through partsexpress but i dont knwo what's worth it and what isnt.

Reading through he doesnt reccomend porting any of the drivers and he reviews the Hi Vi VS3 about the same as the Aura Sound NS3-193 and its cheaper. 4.00 flat rate from the RBC, no charge from RBS. I was amazed The first ATM i found was an RBC ATM so i went to see how much it was going to cost, it said 4.00. For down there, international, American funds that was good but i wanted to see if i could find cheaper. Next ATM i found was just before lunch and was RBS... ATM never said it was chargeing me anything so i suspected it would be super high since i wasnt sure if it was illegal to not say what you where charging but i was hungry and it was a 15min walk to the RBC ATM and anotehr 15min back to where i was so i just used the RBS ATM....come back, its been6 days and still no charge but it shows thr -40.00

i like the design, it just doenst have to be that big.

i'd fuse.... Fuse: $7 vs Stock Replacement Alternator: $150 or New HO Alternator: $300+ or Decent Replacement Battery: $70 or New Yellow Top or one of the likes: $150 you could go through 10 fuses before you hit the cheapest of all the things that could break, but it isnt a must since if something goes horribly wrong it is likely your alternator will just die then it will drain your battery and melt the caseing off of your wire. You will see everything (including your engine) die and will coast to the side of the road. So unless the wire is by something flameable your car probably wont catch on fire.

Sub for deffanitly 1cuft@25Hz with a little 8" would go well with it.

im almost set on thoes thoug im going to make them free standing or floor stand mount instead of wall mount and my enclosure wont be as fancy, maybe ported depending. How do thoes Aura's take to porting? say 0.5 @ 100Hz?
