$150 range?
-
Thanks for the good wishes and advice guys.
-
for $720 you could have had two Avalanche 18's with change left over. You just would have worked to get them. over 8l of linear displacement.

LSQ makes sence S Q L does not.

USamps screw terminals are POS's...
-
The leads are shaped weird. They arc up and then drop straight. So far I havent had a problem with them.
-
Yeah I have no idea what thoes are. But since everyone else thinks they are cool... Great pickup man.

Great subs that never should have been discontinued....

I'm a comedy nerd. Here are some awsome quotes from my three favorite comedy actors. "Shampoo is better, I go on first and clean the hair." "He called the chit poo!" "ohhh I see what's going on here" (in reguards to a pengiun) ''Back to school, back to school. Prove to daddy I'm not a fool. I got my lunch pack packed and my shoes tied tight..." "H2O!" "Vicky Vallencourt showed me her boobies" "How can they learn if they cant even fit in the building! It needs to be at least...THREE TIMES THAT SIZE!" "I'm not an ambiturner" "Relax, go to it" "Derek Zoolander's center for kids who cant read good and want to learn how to do other stuff good too" "I think we should mate" "That's me, taking the bull by the horns. It's a metaphor. But it actually happened." And pretty much my all time favorite comedy actor in two of my favorite movies ever... Also two of the most quoteable for funny situations. "I look good...no I look really good. HEY EVERYONE! Come and see how good I look!" "I wanna be on you" "It's the pants, the pleats. They complements the crotchal region" "Brick, where'd you get a gernade?" "Gonna find my baby gonna hold her tight gonna grab some afternoon delight" "Take me to pleasure town" "Oh we're going there!" "Oh please, well I dabble" "Milk was a bad choice" "BAXTOR!" "I dont know if you heard but I did over 1000 reps" "I'm gonna be honest with you, that smells like straight gasoline." "I will not eat cat poo!" "Attention everyone, I have an important and urgent announcement. I need everyone to stop what they are doing and listen! CANNON BALL!" "You might want to lay low for the next few weeks" "I'm gonna come at you like a spider monkey." "Yeah, I'm glad they are talking to you like that, because they're winners and winners do what they want" "I wanna go fast." "Momma, I'm going fast." "I am so paralyzed!" "I'm all hyped up on moutian dew" "Dear Lord Baby Jesus" "Dear God, please be 18" "Awwwwww BITCH!" "I'm just a Big Ol' Southern-American winning machiene, that's all there is to it" "Help me Jesus, help me Jewish Guy, help me Tom Cruise. Tom Cruise use your magic to get the fire off me!" "No, I will not say I like crapes" "Thoes little flat panakes? Oh I love thoes little things"

Not bad, what's going on them?

Thanks guys. Might see you there sqdenny. Today was just brought down pretty hard though. GF got into a wreck letting her unlicensed, uninsured friend drive her car. Her friend is also a minor and she is not. I could backhand her (my GF) for letting someone who is uninsured let alone unlicensed drive her car.

Sealed 2.5 cubes for 15" D2 work for SQ aetup?
CBFryman replied to alann's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
Ryan, paul knows what he is doing. Paul, I had mine in 2.6 with some batting in the back and it was excelent. Some of the best earsex I've had in a vehicle basswise. Though I never measured it, it sounded as flat as a board. -
Thanks Ramos. I geuss I'm too used to chitty sosche units that have flimsy little tabs that your brake off with your breath. I just cut it with a jig saw so I geuss I did what I was sapposed to do.

If the amp cant handle 4v I dont know if I would want to run it. Besides, you dont have to use your headunit's full potential. IMO Sundown is your best bet here. I've never regretted saving to buy the higher quality product.

The spare tire is mounted up on the deck, going with the stock look. I wanted to put them up there he didnt. The other option was on the sides of the well where it is flat but it just isnt wide enough. This dash is giving me a headache with where I want to put the tweeters.

someone is getting a good deal.

If the ZX1500 is any bit as tempermental as the 2500 I personally wouldnt bother with it. Personally, since Hifonics revamped the lower lines I think they competetive with more mid level amps.

3.5 cubes @ 30hz and 1200 watts...what 15"?
CBFryman replied to Banshee's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
Mags new are a little over that price range. BL is probably going to be the loudest. -
need a wiring harness diagram

Hook the red and yellow to 12v + and the black to 12v - and it should turn on. -
I personally will forever steer clear of the KX2500's due to their sensetivity and excess protection circuts. Orions are loved by all who have used them. I am installing a BX2000 right now and for the money, it is an awsome amp. IMO Hifonics XX lines are overpriced for what you get. IMO you should be looking at the BX2000, the Orion 2500, and the SAZ-1500. The BX and the SAZ-1500 are probably going to be doing about the same power. The BX has no built in fuse which is less than optimal if you are not doing a stand alone fused run for it. The BX might edge out the SAZ power wise but nothing largely noticeable for daily listening. Also remember the SAZ can run at 0.5ohm warrantied. The SAZ is likely going to be the winner in the distortion levels at high output. Hifoncs tests show you need 10% + THD for them to do tested maximum power. That is getting into the noticeable range depending on the set up. The Orion is a deffanite power winner and is good, clean power as far as I know. It also comes with a little higher price tag. Soundstream just isnt appealing to me personally but if you do research and find it strikes your fancy then throw that in the mix as well.

From what I hear they are a lot of power and nothing else worth having. I personally would steer clear of them for daily use just because of the reviews they have had.

best enclosure tpe for a honda accord
CBFryman replied to platnum accord's topic in SPL & SQ / Fabrication
$400 for both subs? I would do a ported enclosure subs back port back. Net volume and port size/tuning will depends on what drivers you decide to select.
