what is so scary about a little spark. Also, ive found that if i disconnect my security system and close my doors there is little or no spark when reconnecting the negative terminal of hte battery.

Yeah, the more i look at it the more and more i think that. Lawl at the plywood engine cover. ill start at $800...if he takes it as a lowball ill give him $1000 firm and he can take it or leave it. All this assumeing it runs well and the hull is in good shape.

    Awesome track race

Odd. I saw a video a while ago where NSX, Galliargo, Diablo, M5, GT3, and M3 wnet at it on the track. 1-2 finish lamborghini because of the decent corner capeability and raw power in the straights. Im leaning towards this I will have to go settle this in GT4

Better be in pristine condition to be that old, and asking that kind of money. I have seen chriscraft's go for that kind of money. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> My dad's 29' chriscraft he just bought was $3500 in excelent condition. I might get some pictures one of these days. Where do you think i should start talking to him at. I dont plan on paying any more than $1300 even with a newer motor and decent trailer. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I would start under a grand. Find a middle point you both agree on. I wouldn't go over 11-1200 depending upon condition. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> let me find you a link. Condition is so-so (judgeing form the pics which can make it look worse or better).

Sounds like a driver issue . What drivers are you using ? How much power ? And how / where are they mounted ? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> RE 6.5" mids. Im hopeing these drivers im testing will be a big step up. IB in my doors. Stock location. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Did you do any door treatments ? Dave edwards had the re's for a while in his doors. He had no problems at all with lack of midbass with them <{POST_SNAPBACK}> 1 layre of second skin on the door skin and 2 on the panel with overkill behind the speaker. of coruse they are trying to keep up with an ava18 wiht midbass...which might be my problem

    polyfil in doors or panels?

Good to know. What is the optimal ratio? 1lb per cuft is what ive always heard. Less if you dont need it to "seem" as big and any more and you are just taking up space.

The guy is asking 1950 for it but im not going to pay that. It is on a galvanized trailer. Im thinking of offering 1200 and going from there if i like it when i look at it. Any thoughts?

    Welcome to the IHoP

I found a good looking boat. Im going to talk to my parents about it. It's a '67 run about hull with a newer motor (didnt say what year). Hasa shallow V hull so that is good for skiing/wakeboarding. Its a "beater boat" i geuss. It has one seat with a make shift wooden bench seat in the back. The hull looks like most Ski Natique boats in the 70's only its runabout instead of direct drive inboard.

I thought of a good way to make ported door panels. Either seal them up like you would for IB then fill the bottom with expanding foam to reduce volume to tthe desired level. Then place a port in the door panel. Or mask off the window gears and make a fiberglass "bubble" around theopening for the speaker...hmmmm.

    Chronic heartburn

Limon-aid...i thought it might help...just made it worse. I always though heart burn was too much acid or acidic food sturing up the acid so it lapped agianst the esophogaus... that is what they say in the commercials
