The finish doesnt look blotchy in person. I dont know why it shows up like that on camera. My hands got dirty because the adheasive is so runny. The paper is piss poor and continued to tear so I would have to start it agian. Second Skin is just a superior product.

I might be blind, but that looks like a single din. There looks like there is room for expansion but it will be tight. However that may be to your advantage.

How to determine amplifier output
CBFryman replied to tejcurrent's topic in Technical Info & How To's
In your case and osciliscope, and the two RMS meters is the route to go. If you just want to know aparent power (what 90% of these RMS tests you see on the web are) then skip the osciliscope except for gain setting. -
Be really good with fiberglass and body work and you can make it look stock. It could just be a simple cut depending on the vehicles. If you could get us a pictuer or at least tell us what car it is we might be able to hlep you more.

Without Me "Two trailor park girls go 'round the outside" If there is one rapper I will still be listening to in 15 years it will be eminem. The beastie boys too. It's ashame he has gotten older and more mature/wanna be gangster.

I'm hopeing it does. But the adheasive is very liquidy and it just doesnt justify the extra $0.20 per square foot in my opinion. I finally heard some music from it today. The battery was really low though. The current battery just isnt holding a charge. He is getting a new one once I finish.

Well I will not be purchaseing from RAAMatt agian. Extremely inferior to Second Skin IMO, much more dirty, and as liquidy as the adheasive is at 70 degrees am praying it will stay on at 110+. I do not reccomend it at all.

How to determine amplifier output

An LS1 is an LS1, no point in putting the car on a chassis dyno. Car weight, rotating inertia, and driver skill will all affect it's straight line perfomrance. -

Hifonics Zeus 7500 vs. JL 500/1
CBFryman replied to juicyfruit's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
That Hifonics is A/B... 500/1 is D...their efficency is probably right about the same, Hifonics may have the upper hand. For a class D amp the 500/1 has piss poor efficency. -
Aero outside = better flow. It also allows you to put the port output furter away from the speaker which can help to better put front and back waves in phase. It also allows for easy tuning changes with out removeing the port ends. There is really no point in putting a slot port outside of the box. IMO.

Hifonics Zeus 7500 vs. JL 500/1

I'm a Hifonics guy for budget amps. But if your electrical can handle the piss poor efficency of the 500/1 and you can get a working 500/1 for that price I'd go JL. You might be able to dump it for a little extra cash in the end. -

Osciliscope True RMS Amp meter True RMS volt meter or True RMS amp meter True RMS volte meter Stable load that doesnt induce current phase change. Osciliscopes range in price. Osciliscope cards for computers run for about $150 and a little more for good software. Stand alone units can be had for $200-500 used and new they can be several thousand. True RMS amp meters run around $100 and I reccomend Fluke Highly. True RMS volt meters can be had in almost any decent DMM. Good DMM's usually cost over $50. Agian I reccomend Fluke. For a stable load you can purchase them, or get a bunch non inductive 25w cremic resistors (like $1.50 each), wire them to the load you need, then submerge them in a bucket of distilled watter after cleaning them with acetone so the water doesnt get contaminated with electrolytes. -
Same here. Really liked Gladiator, so I'm hoping this will be as endearing. I liked Troy, well any movie about Greek and Roman Mythology or that era of empires and wars. It is part of the reason I took Latin instead of spanish or french. I'm going to be in J-Ville weekend after this comming. They have a pretty good iMax...I hope they are playing it.
