18mol HCl + Aluminum Foil Concentrated H2SO4 works well too. Oh wait...bloating. That is more like explostions with a cloud of acid vapor.

I tried, I tried <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Anyone know how to clean ricotta out of a cd drive ? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> CB was melting all sorts of stuff with a heat gun, maybe that would work. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Heat guns are the end to all boredom IMO. So even if it doesn

And a lot more fragile . Sounds like you got the powdered wood filler that you mix with water. Shrinks like a mofo <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's called "like a rock" and says it doesnt shrink but it will expand if it comes directly in contact with water or humid air so painting or sealing with epoxy is reccomended.

The regulator is to regulate the voltage. It is adjustable. When he isnt compeating he runs the amp and the rest of the car at 12v. -
We came up with the greatest birthday gife ever at school today. Kidnap your friend using chloroform get him into the woods strip him naked and put make up on him put a sign on his chest that says happy birthday Then leave a case of beer and a dress sitting next to him. Hope that doesnt happen to you, happy B-Day.

I geuss I'll let it out to you guys. Keep the CA.com's annoyed. MD2 and a Mag 15.

I found this stuff at lowes that is like body filler, only its watter activated. It's like $7 for 4lbs of it (probably close to 3/4 of a gallon). I'm going to see how it works out for a mold. A WHOLE lot cheaper than Bondo.

You'll need 16v batteries (I dont know hat 16v batteries are good batteries) and either a 16v alternator or an alternator with an external regulator. -

If you ran a seperate 16v system just for your amps that would be fine. Running the rest of the vehilce designed for a 11-15v tollerance at 16-18v probably wouldnt be the best idea. -
AF used to be an awsome place to learn. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Don't be bashin AF around me. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I've learned more from taking a dump than what someone who didnt know anything would learn from AF with out being bashed by a bunch of idiots before one or two truely knowedgable people will step in and answear the question. That doesnt just apply to the Audio section. That applies to the Engineer/Technical section, Fabrication section (which is moderated by some 18 year old ass), the Boosted section, Off Topic in the racing section....all forums i USED to visit untill it became the audio section and BSing in the off topic section.

Can never be too stiff...and I know how to brace, thank you.

What's the bigges guage I can shove into the MD2's outputs with out having to trim the wires? I gotta know when I go buy power...err speaker wire.

Working on my friends CRX and helping with the B16 swap helped a lot too.

actually, any turbo knowedge I have is from almsot 4,000 posts on AF and three years watching turbo arguments being had by engineers and very experenced enthusiasts. AF used to be an awsome place to learn. When I went to help a few friendsdo various turbo installs I already knew the basics just from reading on AF. Full intake manfiold swap was a breeze (an 8hr breeze) on my friends Tibby simply from reading on AF and working on briggs 5hp engines.

It will feel REALLY odd going from a truck with a small lift and 30" tires RWD to a FWD econobox 4" off of the ground.

The thing is, when looking strictly for gas mileage you have to think about how much gas you will save vs. the cost of what actually works. And if igot 45mpg on the highway i would dance with joy everywhere i went. I am seriosuly thinking about looking for a preowned Toyota Yris (or how ever it is spelt) in about a year after all the parents buy their teens one and the teens get tired or the parents give them an even better car for college or something. If they are going for 12k now i should be able to pick one up for 9k in a year or so I hope. Still under warranty and it's a freaking toyota econobox. Mag 15 in the econobox? I think so.

the lowest 2 dual 4ohm drivers will wire down to is 1ohm.

I understand how turbos work. Not" infinitely adjustable" but a hell of a lot more adjusable when comapred to even a clutched supercharger unless the supercharger has a pressure valve, but then yo uare wasteing energy. I never got the point of a pressure valve (basically an adjustable BOV) on a supercharger.
-
Hardly, unless there is a clutch for the pulley. Turbo boost is infintely adjustable as well. Clutched pulleys your boost is either on or off. Adding slightly more air, and not fule, proves ot make the engine run more effiecent. Fule pressure down and boost at 1-2PSI for an INCREASE in MPG. You want to have a turbo that spools early or else it puts too much back pressure on the exaust. Still nothing compared to the paracitic drag of your average sized supercharger providing similar boost to the same enigne. Then to make the same power you have to up the boost even more.

Resperators are for sissies and girly men. Real men like dead brain cells.

Once you are in shape you feel like crap if you DONT run. I didnt beleive it untill it happened to me.
