what do you all think about a pair of poly's in door pods .4cu@50Hz? i really need to drop the xover frequincy of my sub, it sounds sooo much better with the xover at like 50hz not having to deal with the 60&up stuff. no way im going to be able to run the IB in my doors with 11.5 mm of excursion. the RE mids are crashing into my door panels on a good kick drum hit and they have 10mm i think and im only giving them 30w or so. i really need to look into a new alternator and battery soon. worlds weridest b-day present, no?

i say RL-i 10, Fiberglass box, and assuming a FWD car put behind the rear wheels on the passenger side for autoX, and passnger side infront of the rear wheels for drag. Unless he is uber seriosu 30-35lbs sub+ enclosure isnt gonna hurt even 0.1sec and for auto X i wouldnt even worry as most track balenced and handleing is more important than 35lbs. for my friends tiburon where where gonna do 4 tang band 6.5's ported and fiberglased, we expected it to weigh lesst han 50lbs but he skimped out on cash at the last moment.

i wish the vacuem leak on my EGR valve would do that...lol.

i dont mind. It was a #2 screw head. The screws are cross threaded. Had no problems with the other like 8 scres. end caps wher eeasy to get off with mine

gotcha, now are yo urefering to the TC9 with SX's or the e12a cone/coil?

dont know the guy was so quick to get me off the phone i didnt even have time to gather my thoughts on the matter. it as liek a 30sec phone call including time for htem to pick up.

Shawn's been doing recones since '02 or '03, he is an RE dealer, or is in the process, what im talking about with the e12a is, because recones are impossible to find, take the current cone/coil out, remove the spider and replace the surround and take the TC9, put it on an 18" with SX soft parts, give/sell the e12a cone/coil to someone that has one rotting because its blown.

oh BTW, tried drilling htem out properly (i have the kit) and they where so jammed i coudlnt get either out, ended up soldering the wires in. ghetto but it works.

very nice, c-notched to drag frame? my friends GMC 1500 was bagged and could drag frame. only way to slow down at a light in style is to drag your hitch. police may not particularly like you though.

Motor Mount CV Joint (however you said it doesnt do it when its stopped so im geussing this is a negative) phucked up balencer, though if it doesnt do it at hight speed im doubting this too. because its inline (me thinks) its not a dropped cylender. My GF's car does the same thing. She has a cracked motor mount.

im telling you 30band FTW. it doesnt matter if you dont compeate. is there a single note too sharp? small range that needs boosting that is only evident in one or two songs? 30 band will get the job done.

Bigger and lower is better with them. 10cuft@10Hz would be awsome for the low low notes. 7.5cuft@28Hz dives ungodly 20Hz tones in my truck, chad says the bigger you go the lower they get. A little bird told me TC3HP 15's go for a good price NEW...<400 if you know the right people. I can talk to that little bird to how he got them for such a great price.

but movies have information as low as 5Hz in some casses. You may not be able to "hear" it but it is certianly scensible. How much the people in the dorms near you will appreceate it i dont know. Single Avalanceh 18 would kill.

thought they where wount side by side, as in the individual wires side by side, not the entire coil. My misonception i geuss. I may have to go buy a cheap DVC driver to tear it apart to verify one wya or the other. One of top of the other would cause differences but as long as the coil's wire length is the same and size is reletively the same and windings are the same i geuss the differnces would be no more than the 15% differnece in any given driver's T/S parameters from the test batch for the T/S parameters.

No prob, im not a fan of s10's or toppers, your looks pretty clean. i like the lack of the cookie cutter Smoothie front and no roll pan. Could ditch the topper but im just bias. I hate my dad for ruining the good look of his '05 silverado with a topper. Is it bagged or just lowered?

crack open your average high end large HT cabinet and you will find led panels in them quite often. Lead is only dangerous when injested in high levels or over long periods of time. Dont eat your paint chips in old houses and you will be ok. It CAN hurt if yo uexpose your skin to it for ever, so insentive for geusts to not touch your walls and get their nasty figner grease all over the place. Anyway, im jsut saying lead isnt as poisonious as some may think. Im not saying to start taking your reccomended daily value of lead with your vitamins, but dont avoid it like the pleauge when its an awsome mass adder. With that being said put some cat hair fiberglass in with it and you wont have any problems. some guys on DIYaudio.com epoxied pebble's into their HT enclosures after they found out hot glue let go (lol, lots of rattles) and though i havent been over there in ages because everybody is way over my head (i ask a reccomended tuning and they start going intoremoving nodes from my doors, WTF?) but ~1month after they changed their plan of action i didnt read any complaints. Go fur' it mang.
