i'd give it a bit more to Product...even with some seriosuly chitty box with leaks and no bracing a driver like new (or old) XXX with propwer power and electrical system will almost always outwang any pyle driver in any box with pyle amps and electrical system doesnt matter because a pyle amp will never draw enough current to hurt almost any electrical system... and that is what i ment about the SoloX... not SPL, Not SQL, Not SQ...it is what you want it to be. Where as most of DD's drivers, the MT, and from what ive heard about the DP... they lack musical clarity and are very peaking with their responce, even in enclosrues that are geared for "SQ"

its here, im desiding on what i want to do with my EQ, buy the dash kit for it and have a ugly black 1/2DIN space under the deck and EQ... OR have the Deck with a pocket and hide the EQ in the glove compartment. Im leaning towards the glove compartment because when im showing my system to people they will undoubtably crank it up full blast, a little clipping on the HU wont hurt much because i set my gains conservatively except for SPL but if some idiot sees and EQ and is like "Hey, i know how to use this" and suddenly the amp is trying to produce an extra 12dB centered at 30Hz....the amp and the 18 (and me soon afterwards) will not be happy at all.

i'd personally stay away from Clarion and probably panasonic too, just my experence that they arent as high quality for the same price as Alpine or Eclipse. I had the same price range, ended up with Mrray13's eclipse 3434.

Sure you didnt just max out the meter? i have a radio shack meter and it maxes out at 129.x and is extremely inacurate and can only 1/2 measure acuratly below 100Hz in C weighting. ever seen a real anecho responce graph this spikey?

all i can say is SX's are deffanitly awsoem street beaters. I havent heard the new l7's but the i would choose the SX over the old l7's any day. But because i havent heard the 06 line take my opinion as a gain of salt. Have you looked into RE's new MX series? sapposed to be louder than the current SX with better SQ as well. ive yet to hear a 3rd party review but david says they are closely ocmpeditive with the old XXX's in SQ only louder

You'll never get a square cone to reach the maximum potential of a round cone in SQ. However down low low it doesnt make much of a difference as long as there is no mechanical noise. However a new XXX 18 would deffanitly give a solo X 18 a run for its money...a really big run for its money...if not win its money. and then you have 96mm of travle to watch

my uncle is 65 and he's been runing it since he was 20. he was getting old and ready to retire. He got a cool 1.2million for the farm, a guarontee the mexicans that have worked there for 10 years would keep their jobs and use of the unused land as he wishes. Of course half of that 1.2 million went to a nice house right by the land. the rest, bank, oh and a really nice RV. Tons of fishing stuff too. Anyway. We have a family reunion down there this weekend so ill get a picture of the sign the state put up on the farm for running it for so long.

Yeah but i seem to have misplaced my camera....ill look for it tomarrow. Wicked one is almost finished and basically waiting for paint/baffles. These drivers are so beefy im going to have to put the baffles in with the drivers already mounted, good thing is once the enclosrue is bolted down there is no way in hell anyone will be able to steal the drivers without either stealing a 55lb enclosrue with it or completely tearing apart the enclosre.... and all for a pair of $55 drivers...ehhh not really worth it. HU went in easy thanks to a sosche install kit. First time that ive used one and it went perfect w/o any hitches. Wires are ran except for the power wire and i have the molds for the kick pods. this is going to be one hell of a system i beleive. Anybody think i should remove the rear speakers to vent the bass into the cabbin? she uses the back seat for friends/books/little brothers so keeping it folded down isnt really an option. Also, best to have the opening facing rear with the box pushed all the way to the back of the trunk? oh yeah. That $150 pioneer unit form Wally World is pretty nice. Even if i had to wait an hour for someone to come and open the damn case for me. Sapposed to be uber durable with no need for primer. for the pods im using matching interior pant. With a texture im hoping to get a nice plended in look. I may paint the grills too, or just leave them black. They arent the bestl ooking but they are nice.

it is by like 1/2" the pic makes it lookreally bad. you cant even tell in when you see it unless you know what you're looking for. It's because i used one angle cut for one side and another for hte other so one ended up being just a tad off. It changed the angle of the opening a whopping 2 degrees and the volume of onside just over 5 cuin difference....not gonna make that big of a difference.

John Deere is the Adire Audio of the tractor business. Yeah they cost alot of money But they have really great longevity AND you dont have to use all of their power to get the job done. Ive driven Deere's as small as an 18horse lawn mower to my papa's little inline 4 Diesle to a dual tired 10.0l I-6. And the saying is true, nothing runs like a deere.

Stock HU is in it now with a LOC Mrray's Eclipse 3434 will be here on friday, ill probably installing all this next week. I'd like to have m new mids by prom but that aint gonna happen so ill just have to stick with what i got. Funny thing, kinda random, Amanda managed to blow her 6.5's already. I told her "Dont EVER go over 50, i know the HU will go to 65 but i dont want you to go over 50. If the speakers start sounding funky on low beats of from distortion turn it down." well, 55w and prolonged distorted low bass from one of her CD's and the coil, especially on the driver's side, is starting to unravle and the wire is partially burnt because the mids arent moving as far or getting as loud (higher resistance). Which leads me to belive these HWS stuff is overrated because that amp could only produce 110w completely clipped assueming a true 4ohm load and that her alternator was charging at 14.4v and supporting the current. They where rated for 80w RMS i do belive. The gains are set by ear and checked with a multimeter. Oh well, she still has music, SQ just got killed, she is asking her dad for money for new speakers. I may go ahead and upgrade her to a cheap CDT 2 way componet set. mount the tweeters on the dash to raise the sound stage some.

yep, i was able to snag over 2cuft net ported with over 20sqi ofp ort area tuned into the low 30's in a ram singel cab....and you stll ad fully functional seats and there sill be space betwen the seat and the box.

yep. if it's costing 180 for an rli 12 and the rlp can be bought for just a tad more....i wonder which one i would want... lol
