Very nice!

I have been having a lot of trouble with .pdf files in Opera lately. Is this just me?

I'll be damned ... can't help my kid out with a bloody physics problem. Stupid pendulums.
-
Ok, I'm a little lost.
-
Need a new receiver. Hearing only half of what you're supposed to hear is starting to drive me insane. It's like watching a four legged animal trying to walk on just a front right peg and rear right peg.

Gave a midterm today. Handed out the exam and about 30 hands go up. "Where are pages three through six?" F!ck. Copy Centre screwed up and didn't copy the centre two pages for whatever reason. Unbelievable. Said forget it, collected the exams, and said be prepared to write on Friday. I'm not going to screw around trying to put questions up on the projector or have the Copy Centre send up the missing pages. Unbelievable. It never ends.

I hate women. [/brief rant]

Ha, I have a shirt that says "Yes, I work out. No, I won't help you move."
-
Absolutely, without a doubt, one of the smartest things to do. Money well spent.
-
I will surely be asking for input I hope it isn't *too* cold when you move - hope all goes well.

It is not too early to start looking for a birthday gift to myself.

Pretty sure the left channel on my receiver just fried. Piece of shit.

Oh, guess you can't stand the block up on orange tiles. Learned the heard way.

Sorry to hear that, Jim. Damn you Ryan and the Bloxorz thing. You've got me hooked and I have work to do!

I don't use an mp3 player in the gym. I just walk around in the gym without a smile on my face ... like I'm going to kill someone or that I hate the world. It doesn't make me any friends, but nobody says a word to me and I love it. The odd time I'll get a kid ask about an exercise I'm doing, and so long as I am in my rest period, I'll explain what they need to know. When I'm doing heavy deadlifts or something similar and I'm doing my pre-lift mental visualization of the actual lift, stay the f!ck out of my way. That is one of the rare occasions that I will tell someone off. Or when someone uses iron plates on the wooden platforms that clearly say "rubber plates only" on them in big blue letters. When people stare or when people do stupid shit in the gym, I take that and it fuels me to push myself harder. I'll let you go right ahead and do the clean and jerk dead wrong ... I don't care if you screw up your elbows and wrists because of it ... you were too dumb to ask for help and learn the proper form in the first place. I will come off as cocky and use the platform beside you, take a light weight, do the proper form, and put everything away ... even on a non-olympic day ... only to watch them do the exact same thing day after day. I gave you your chance and you didn't take it.

Wow, PCR analysis ... it has been a LONG time since I have had to deal with that. I can't really remember how to deal with the results. Are you measuring yield and reaction quality or using the results to determine something genetic? Remembering all that stuff now ... I really do not miss it.

40% of my job is teaching/office hours/marking. 60% is broken down into: - 50% research/publications/helping grad students - 10% being on boards, volunteering, community work That last 10% sucks because it means I should attend some plays and other activities. I'm writing a column on the architecture of Spain/Portugal right now. This is the one time I will say: I'd raher be marking.

Not very often. They can be a pain in the ass to install and an even bigger pain in the ass to get your ears to like their sound. Took me forever to tune them and even then I wound up seeking help. I'll probably be going away from my HLCD units soon.

I finally have been able to take one day off from entering the gym. But I still do some minor exercises at home on that day just for something to do.
-
I need to learn how to relax or I may run into some problems pretty quick. I can't do this dog shit muscle relaxation or yoga stuff. The gym used to be relaxing, now it is work.

Brought up Yahoo! to search for something but by the time it loaded and I went to type something I completely forgot what I wanted to look up. Unbelievable.
