Where are all the good boxing day deals in Canada? Like I need to spend any more money.
-
Every year when December rolls around the other half seems to think that there is all of a sudden more money to blow. I don't get it. I opened a few che(que)(ck)s, a package of Brita filters, and a sweater. Guess that shows my age.
-
It adds up real fast. I just placed a fairly large Poorboy's order a couple weeks ago

Well, I spent far too much on gifts again this year. Worth it though. The w wanted some anniversary ring so I printed a picture of it, threw it in a box, and wrapped it up. Should go over real well. Reality says our gift to us for the rest of our lives will be a new house in three or four years and me retiring at 35. Ha.

3> 5 in snow, but both need snowshoes. If I did happen to choose the 5 series, I'd need to be persuaded into getting the V8 (if appropriate). I quite like the I6, but if the V8 is the way to go, I need to start hearing it from more people.

Merry Christmas to you as well. More importantly, thank you for being a member of SSA and allowing us to host your message forum here.

There's a 21.6" LG on sale at FutureShop for $250. Seems like a good price.
-
Excellent. Thanks guys. Just tried it with my 20" monitor I have at home and it works perfect. I guess I'll have to keep an eye out and see if a nice widescreen goes on sale on Boxing Day.
-
The latter is what I want ... to be able to use one spreadsheet on one monitor and be able to drag another one or a different program onto the other monitor. It's a one year old Toshiba. Will I need software or some other chip installed, or is it pretty much plug and play?
-
Guess I'll have to look into it.
-
Can I run dual monitors with my laptop? I wouldn't mind getting a 22" widescreen to go beside my 17" screen as it makes things a lot easier when you have three or four lists of names and grades in Excel.
-
Well, I can cross the G35 sedan off my list. One just tried to make it up the hill by my house and failed three times. Really need to try both the 3 and 5 series in the snow.

Shit a new truck would almost be affordable if they didn't charge $7000 for the diesel engine.

I am about to turf Opera. It has locked up on me far too many times during the past couple days. Apparently it can't handle three or more tabs. Besides, it won't even load WebCT.
-
If I had half a day to do it myself, that time would probably be better spent relaxing or doing research
-
And yes, this is coming from a die-hard Chevrolet guy. Born and raised. But c'mon, even I know reality.
-
So my local Chev dealer won't do a factory installed remote start on my truck as they fear it'll just be towed back in some time later because it screwed with the computer. At least they know they make pieces of shit and won't install anything that will make it worse.

Looks like a great TV!

I don't have very many problems with mine ... I have been really lucky. The problem I do have is paying $60,000 and winding up with half-assed seats, a complete and total garbage interior consisting of plastic and more plastic, and dog shit quality paint. I do not know where the sticker price comes from - plastic isn't that expensive and there isn't a whole hell of a lot of "real" anything on the truck.
-
Gotta take the truck in this afternoon. Tranny is sticking. I don't have the energy to take the bottom half of the steering column off but I'm pretty sure it needs a good regreasing. POS GM. I'm going to walk across the street and look at an F350 while I'm waiting. New truck will come in 3-5 or so years, but it doesn't hurt to look now.

Not a thing. I did nothing other than work yesterday

Ok, back to work. Lame.
