A legend indeed. It has been a long time!

I have been finding some Silverado's that are priced pretty well, but I don't know if I want to go down that route again. Hell, I can't even decide between a truck and a car at this point. Both are so practical right now ...
-
I know how you feel, in particular right now. I'm starting to get frustrated ... but I'm just going to take my time.
-
- you would have a lot of fun. You'd also have fun in the snow with a vehicle, I'm guessing.
-
This vehicle hunt is a pain in the ass.
-
Nevermind. At nearly $20K, it is way overpriced.

Any problems with the '01 C240's ?

Wow ... the used A6 seems to be pretty well priced. $14-$16K (CDN) for an ~'01.

I'm guessing the whole "new Impala" thing? I'm sorry! I'll try not to get one!
-
I am all for guidelines/minimums regarding a 'new edition' ... I believe that certain requirements should be met before a new edition is put out. Changing one picture doesn't count. Updating more than 50% of the chapters with new research does. So on and so forth. Since I value life and living, I can't open my mouth on the subject.

I'll have to check in with you later this summer to see if it is still around. I am going to be spending quite a bit of time driving in the next few years so this summer brings a new or new-to-me vehicle. Going to look around tonight to see if I can find any decent deals. Been looking on Autotrader.ca a lot lately too. From what I can see right now, the '07 one year lease return Impala's or Grand Prix's for ~ $18,000 might be just the thing to hold me over for a few years and treat me well on the highway.

The publisher sets the price and makes a killing. They are the reason why your textbooks cost so much. In all actuality, it is a business ... unfortunately.
-
Textbooks are ridiculous. $130 new. $95 used. $11.89 buyback. *IF* they buy it back. They change one thing and send out a new edition. If your prof upgrades to the newest edition as soon as it comes out, they are getting perks from the publisher. It's not like the authors make a ton of money from the sales.

I have a 10" RL-i sitting here. Can't remember if it is S4 or D4, though. Guess I will have to dig it out and check. Either way, I'm pretty sure it is going to have to be sold as I don't have a use for it and have had it for over a year ... still BNIB.
-
Budget? What did you have in mind? I'm willing to shell out a little extra cash for performance.
-
Might need to find a 10" or 12" driver that works well in a small, sealed enclosure with ~1000-1500 watts for this summer.

This needs to be placed on all post-secondary applications.

I don't know anything about driving though. After all, I'm just an Italian Retard Out Cruisin'.
-
Save on wear and tear and gas mileage ... seems like the only way to drive!

That better be one damn important textbook.
