In all reality I should be getting a little Civic or something of the sort and get the whole 30+ mpg thing. Tough call.

Carbonated drinks and booze are even harder on your stomach. Pretty much everyone I know on prescription acid reflux meds drinks either Captain and Cokes or Redbull drinks near exclusively. All of them. Is it truly a pattern I don't know, but it is enough to make me believe so. It is ... it's quite dangerous and really shitty for your body. Nearly all of the energy drinks out there are absolute crap for you. Oh, and don't be fooled by "sugar-free" ... there is still sugar in it, but at a tolerable level not a ridiculous one.

Mind you, everything is expensive these days.

Drove an '05 Hybrid V6 and really liked it. Don't know if it is a big enough highway car for me, though. Interior was one of my favorites for a car in that price range/category. I have heard more than a few times that they are rather pricey when it comes to fixing them.

What tests have you had done? You should have your own coffee mug in the Nuclear Medicine department by now.

My gut is killing me.

Truth. Is prime supposed to drop again shortly? Stealership thinks they are competitive at 8% but I can do 5% at the bank. Hope it drops a little bit more. Hopefully I can get a grille and a set of wheels/tires for the summer and winter tires out of the deal. Forget 'hopefully' ... I'll be walking if I don't get what I want.

Great review, Jim. Thanks for taking the time to demo it and give us your thoughts. Sounds like a promising driver.

Nevermind next week ... today is already Sunday. Leave this Wednesday evening. Shit I have a lot to do before then.
-
will your Tucson trip be during the summer? Next week ... just for a couple days. According to the schedule, it doesn't even look like we will have time to eat.
-
I'll be a travelling man this summer much like Sean. Nearly every week I'll be off somewhere on this continent for training, work, or research.

Tom believes in science, data, and facts. I think/hope.

I wish it was 14*C here. Mornings are -8*C or so and it only has been warming up to around 5-8*C. Windy as hell too. Can't wait for the warmer weather - hope it comes soon. I haven't even taken my snow tires off yet because it just snowed the other day.
-
It snowed here.

Oh, and Myke Scavone is one greasy bastard.

I've been watching a lot of old music videos lately because I can actually access Youtube at work. One thing really stands out and I have one simple message: Don't do drugs.

I have a shitload of work to do tonight. Lame.
-
I have and did enjoy it, but not as much as some others.

No chance.

Drove the 300C today. Awesome car. Drove much nicer than the CTS in my opinion. CTS was too plain on the inside and I am afraid you are paying for the name more than anything. Surely GM could have put something a little more fancy and a lot less plastic inside. Got the dealership on the hunt for a 300C with the options, color and price I want - see what they can do for me.
-
Hope you find something fun. Do you shop online first? I am one of these freaks who only shops for a particular year, color, set of options and will only go look at something that fits it perfectly. *wasn't looking for red when I bought hte M though, but couldn't say no Once I figure out what vehicle I want, I'll go through the options list and check off exactly what I want and won't accept anything less. Drive the 300 C tomorrow and see how it feels. Seems like it should be a good highway car. Litle bit of aftermarket potential too. Was offered a base model Charger with the 3.5L ... 2007, very low miles, ugly color, and a new set of wheels for $15,000 ... forget that. Good price, but I'm starting to think the Charger is a touch on the small side. Keep hearing bad things about the CTS. Tough time finding parts for them and they are expensive ... apparently. I was not that impressed with the interior, either - typical GM.

That is one hacked up MINI.

Lame Friday night with nothing but work to do. Oh well. Going test driving again tomorrow.

I know One of my most favorite interiors. But I can't get it serviced here ... and I don't think I want to drive to Calgary to get it done.

Well, I found a dealer who will bring in anything. So that pretty much opens up my options a LOT more. Problem: There are no Mercedes, Audi, BMW, Lexus, Infiniti, Acura, or Volvo dealerships here ... and I'm not going to the one reputable import mechanic as I'll still get gouged by him.
