*Cracks knuckles* Just getting started.

Parts will/have been ordered this week. Should be at my house the week of the 27th, but more likely the first week of July. Crossover parts are in the box, so they'll have to be completed. Reminds me, I need to go out and get a new soldering iron. Also need to figure out what I'm going to mount the crossovers on. Wanted to do two pieces of glass and have them on the top of the towers, or even mirror. Probably just go with some bullchit cardboard / hardboard. Got two pair of those nice Dayton binding posts because Josh won't let me drill holes in the back and seal them with silicone Ordered two 3" ports ... the nice flared ones from PE. Should look good in the bottom of each tower right below the dual 7's. Also ordered the adjustable drill bit to cut the circle out to mount the ports. Should be fun. Put a good amount of polyfil on the walls yesterday and today. Just a little update. No pictures because there isn't anything that is new. Will post boatloads of pictures when everything shows up. I think Jim is the only one who knows what drivers I decided to go with

I wouldn't think it would fade / wear away under 'normal' conditions.

Slayer - Raining Blood Killswitch Engage - The Element Of One Venga Boys - The Venga Bus Is Coming --- how fitting. Killswitch Engage - Rose Of Sharyn Metallica - And Justice For All Crystal Method - High Roller --- might tear your vehicle apart.

Seen a dark green Aston Martin DB9 Volante with Oregon plates driving through town today. Beautiful car. Such a nice sounding exhaust ... I heard the rumble from a ways away.

Lookin' good, Dennis.

But it's also 7:10PM and I don't feel like cooking anything. Therefore, I'll resort to some sort of junk food instead of a steak. Or eggs. Or a sandwich. Or a wrap. Actually, I'll make myself a wrap.

I am really, really hungry now.

Damn, that sounds good.

Do I even have to ask the question... So ... uh ... "What did you guys have for lunch?"

Holy chit @ tomorrow is already Monday.

You're right. These things should be done the first week of July or so. Gotta order the speakers and crossover parts, build the crossovers, put in the ports and the terminals, line the insides with polyfil/insulation, and I think that's it. Still gotta buy a new soldering iron. Debating what I want to mount the crossover components on. Might be a piece of glass or mirror, or just some chitty as piece of board I find around the house.

That's one huge quote.

Yes, I'm quoting myself. Craftsmen got me thinking. Craftsmen. Sears. Sears. Sears. ... Sears might be cheaper than CrappyTire and HomeHardware.

ITS OFFICIAL!! =)

At that price, they'd sell like crazy in my area. -
Won't fit. I need to cut a hole in each of my towers ... right at the bottom of the baffle. Jigsaw won't fit in there (well it might ... just barely) = messy cut. Mind you, I am going to put the nice flared ports in there so it would cover up any minor mistakes but I'd rather spend 10 bucks and play with the drill. 3/4" birch ply + adjustable drill bit + corded Craftsmen drill =

Should be rather fun using one of those guys with my hand drill.

Wood. Yep, it's big one. $40 CAD ($32 USD) for the 3" hole saw and 10 bucks more for the 4". Same price for one of these guys: http://power-tools.hardwarestore.com/54-31...er--635144.aspx Which is what I'll wind up getting - Home Depot has them for around $10 USD.
