One of my co-workers just picked up a Honda Fit. Seems like a nice little car to run around the city in - especially at that price. I wouldn't go buying a car you could call "cute" ... but they seem to be nice little basic cars.

Haven't got any rain since winter here. Really really dry. I am surprised none of the systems we have been getting are heading East. I have had that same issue, so I have been forced to do a rushed slop job at dusk after work and a nice 2 hour commute. Mine is about a foot long now because it has rained for the past three weeks non-stop ... supposed to get another 35mm between now and tomorrow morning. Looks like I'll have to spend the money and just call someone to take care of it for me - I just don't have the time.

Do a custom center console in the back seat and lose functin of one seat? Or if you need the airspace run it right up onto the seat and make a nice cupholder/armrest or amp rack out of it ... Either way ... just be careful with it. As you already know that is a pretty expensive investment.

I agree 100%. If you pick one of these up check the production date to see if it was made in the date range affected by the recall. Not that you ever intend on dropping it, but it's a free fix.

I had a Toyo do the same thing a couple years back and they wound up giving me a set of four new tires and paid my repair bill (did some fender damage).
