Wow ... I'm an idiot - just realized I said he got a 325 ... he got a 300i. Talk about not thinking, sheesh. Anyway, I drove by his house at 8:00AM this morning and there he is, outside with the back doors open cleaning the door sills. He's going to be addicted to that thing for a long time.

And boy ... is it ever a nice car. I wanted him to look at the IS 350, which IMO which would have been a slightly better deal than the BMW, but he was just too sold on it already. Oh well, both are nice cars and he got what he liked. Without wishing ill upon someone, I wouldn't mind doing it again and getting someone into an IS 350

I can't top Dennis' pic, but boy ... what a day. One of my good friends got T-boned last night and called me about right away ... around 9PM. Everyone was fine - car was written off (Chrysler Sebring). I worked on his settlement all last night and finalized it this morning. Pushed it right through to the top of the list. Anyway, he's getting a nice chunk of change. He wanted me to go car shopping with him so I said sure, why not. I didn't know we'd be going today. He calls me at work just after I finished faxing his papers through, and he says "Let's go to Kelowna and look for cars." ... so we go. Leave at 9:00AM - it's a three and a half hour drive there. Arrived in Kelowna about 12:30ish, stop at the Chrysler place (he's a Chrysler guy ... I know, I know) and look at the 300. Nice car. I say ... well, let's go look at the BMW lot - I did manage to get your a pretty nice settlement. So he agrees and we head over to the BMW lot. First car he sees inside was a black 325xi. Takes it out for a test drive while I drool on the M3, comes back, does a little dealing, signs the paper, and boom we're on our way home. I wish I could decide on a vehicle that quickly

What the fudge is that supposed to mean? Do you want and are you asking me to kick your pucking ass out of here? I'll do it so fast it'll make your pucking head spin ... Get off the pucking tracks before the train runs you over.

There is zero consultation and analysis of issues at CarAudio.com in this thread, nor this forum. ESPECIALLY those regarding moderation issues - they shouldn't be examined on a public forum, rather in a PM, e-mail, or in the specific section dedicated to discussion. I don't want to see this chit again, or you'll be removed immediately.

So, what are you listening to these days? I find these threads are always good for me - bring back old favorites (forgotton, or just put aside for a while), discover new music (www.musicplasma.com BTW), etc. I've had some metal blaring for the past little while. "Are You Dead Yet?" by Children of Bodom is a good album (and song) - some nut-shaking double kicks in there. God Forbid and Opeth have been getting some play time. Metallica, especially Enter Sandman, has been put on repeat more than once lately. Classic rock ... always listening to that. Bruce Springsteen, Aerosmith, The Police, Nirvana, The Who, Tom Petty, Guns N' Roses, Genesis, and BTO have been on heavy rotation. Not much country lately. The phase definitely comes and goes for me. Jason Aldean - Hick Town is a decent track. Rancid, NOFX, Rise Against, Thrice, Sublime, AFI, The Clash, etc. Haven't listened to much of it all lately. Hip-Hop/Rap ... a lot of junk gets played just so the uber can get a little bit of a workout once in a while. Atmosphere - You Can't Imagine How Much Fun We're Having is a pretty good CD. Busted out the Nate Dogg & Warren G - Regulate song the other day ... what a classic.

Check PM's over there.

Avalanche eh? Subs firing in through rear midgate and box in bed, or how do you have it set up? 149.7 is great - congrats on the score. Tough to do in a vehicle such as that one.

My boss has one ... in black. No joke. Very nice car ... The interior seems to be from a different car - I mean, it doesn't look like a MSRP $40, 000 vehicle interior ... it's like it would be found in a more expensive vehicle. The leather is so nice. He takes it over the mountain passes every other day between offices and has never had a problem with it. I walked in and seen it out front today and it looks as though he drove it through about 8" of mud yesterday. Go test drive one if you haven't already. Or wait 'til there's a nice amount of snow on the road. You can push it pretty hard before you start to move.

You'll get an STI regardless. Make it count :D

How soon do you think this'll happen? Year or so? Boy that'll be nice - you deserve it!

Looks good. I like that grille

Never. I've played with a couple and just don't like them. I'll be getting a laptop next year for sure - just doing research now. Probably look to spend ~ $1500-$1600 USD ... which is already over what I originally thought I'd be spending.

VERY nice work. I'm impressed - it really looks awesome

I know ... but perhaps it'll solve the problem if he logs out, then logs back in.

We changed a few things around ... with the member groups. Up until 25 (IIRC) posts, you won't be able to post in the For Sale section ... once you roll over 25 or 26 posts, it'll change your member group, allowing you to post in there.

Just priced a Dell Inspiron 9300 for fun and with options it works out to nearly $2948. Not that I'd ever buy one, but chit that's expensive.
