Its also going to be elevated a little off the ground for more air space. mite do the right and side today. i dint sleep in 24 hours p.s. its not the ebrake thats blocking. its the parking brake. so i kinda need that.

Is there such a thing? Amp Q
flakko replied to Mega Heavy Bass's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
And totally kicks ass But for 12VDC, they're tough to implement. That's why 99.9% of all Class A amps you see are going to be used for home audio, where the inefficiency and size penalties don't matter. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ya i wanna hear one of those tube amps with my system. Heard it has unmatched SQ from any amp. Theyre hot. Literally. -
melikes that one

lol you know wat... i dont know haha i AM however going to elevate the kicks a little bit so i get more volume. also maybe build it back a little bit. When i finish i will for sure Demo it for ya! I dunno i mite have to stop by, ill be in the area next next week Also there may be a USAMPS factory tour in the near future so you may have to come down here....nothing in concrete tho Well... for the mounting position, so far nothing happend to them lol i think i would hurt them more if they were on the dead pedal cuz i put my foot there a lot. well at first i thought i was gonna mess everything up. it "LOOKS" hard. but once you go through with it, its a piece of cake. Its like a scary rollercoaster. "LOOKS" scary but when you go on it, its not that bad (riddlers revenge). VERY time consuming tho. Thanks for all yall complements and criticism!!!!

hmm i got some info today about ported boxes. I was thinking about using a ported box and porting the bass into my cabin. Well... it turns out all the port itself does is boost and PLAY the frequency it is tuned to, and the majority of the bass still comes from the front wave of the sub. so if i tune the box to 31 hz and i stick the ports into the cabin into the cabin i will hear boom boom boom BOOM boom BOOM the "BOOM" being the frequency the port is tuned to and it will overwhelm rest of the bass. i think thats why spl people like to upfire the ports into the cabin. any comments?

well i was examining my alternator today, and this is the one im gonna send in for exessive amperage to mod. the area circled in red is the place where the wiring harnesses goes to connect to everywhere and it doesnt look like i can run 1/0 gauge, and if i keep the stock wire, for sure it will catch fire. Comments, ideas?

Question about my alt
flakko replied to flakko's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
ah. isee wat yer satin. but i chatted a lil with nathan from excessive amperage, and he said he would just solder a 1/0 gauge crimp ring to the B+ prong so i can run the 1/0 wire and keep the rest stock wiring. thanks for your suggestions!! you guys are so helpful -
oh hahaha i guess i should do more i did 1-2 lol
-
thats wat i was wondering should i add another layer? oh and if anyone was wondering about the positioning, it was the best i could do due to my e-brake taking up the entire corner.

flakko replied to flakko's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
hmm its gonna be hard to spice.... lookey: the 2 "V+" prongs go 2 the ignition switch and battery and the little prong goes to the Dash light, and the isolated prong goes to the voltage regulator. help.... -
i was just joking around, wanted to cause a lil stir in the air.
