my car has stock 5.25" speakers in the doors and i really wanna KISS on the front stage, with a 2-way. of course i will be deadening and sealing my doors as much as possible, but right now, i dont wanna spend too much on the mids 70 per will probably be the max for me. I have the seas neo metal version sitting here next to me and a set of aa poly mids. the only problem i think will be the fact the stock grill will ONLY fit a 5.25 speaker and i don't want any bad reflections off the inside of the door panel. I wanna HP the mids over ideally around 80hz, but if i must go to 100 i must. For the amps, i will have an Usamps md42 bridged at 180x2 @ 4 ohms so power shouldnt be that much of a problem. anyways i was hoping to get some suggestions from you guys. so far i have scoped out: Peerless Exclusive 5.5" 831882 Seas ER15RLY 5" Seas CA15RLY 5.5" i was also suggested the Pioneer Premier TS-C520PRS mids (iill prolly sell the tweets and xovers) Im leaning toward the Peerless because ive been reading about the awesome midrange. however it also seems that the midbass is a little lacking? can anyone clarify? any other suggestions feel free to suggest

indeed if you overlook the overratedness of the xterminator series (off the box) they are very very solid great-sounding amps.

Looking for a sub that will work well in a small sealed enclosure.

-
heh? i was complementing this place? or were you referring to ca.com?
-
yea just think of this place as ca.com minus the wh0ring and stupidness.
-
NP. I think its a 2005 or 2006 model. It does not have the gunmetal color you have shown somewhere else on this forum. gotcha!

I want an HONEST review... dont just go praisin usamps. i want an unbiased reveiw here. ill start you off,,, something at ca.com http://caraudio.com/vb/showthread.php?t=125340

for the heat sink fins they ARE used for cooling. i would give them some space i dont konw the ratings of the xterminators anymore lol but for now yea, expect round 180@2 as for the line driver, i dont have much xperience with them but when i did run one i turned the gains on the driver down and i was fine.

link to the auction? you can still link after it ends. lol ream.
-
excellent...almost done planning. would .5" be sufficient between the pole vent and the wall of the enclosure?
-
yea looks like more and more they are turning usamps/re into a mainstream brand...but thats where the money is

this will be up in the reviews section and your concerns as well as your praises will be brought to the attention of teh peeps at usamps.. btw was this a 2007 AX5600 or a previous version? thanks for the great review man!

a profile from them was my very first amp. I ran it with an infinity perfect DVQ. it was great. sucker never got hot. One good experience and your amp not getting hot does not make them good amps. Out of all people I am surprised you feel that way, pull the cover and have a look for yourself and then you won't recommend them anymore. For the same dough used is WAY better. sounded great to my ears (well maybe it would have sounded better with a different amp), actually one of the tightest sounding system i had....again maybe it was the sub...there have been many other people who have used them on ca.com (yea i know lol). but the guts aint THAT bad: maybe because it was my first amp i feel (forgot that word)

maybe try switching out your RCA's?
