alamo's loss/damage rep took the information and gave me my claim number. i have to call their claim department tomorrow morning to let them know what ever it is they want. funny though when the officer pulled us to give us the information exhange he stated him/his vehicle was at fault of the accident. i grabbed my papers and went off to my friend who was driving behind me. he stayed with the cop trying to figure out why he was at fault. cop didn't want to hear excuses and left. good stuff at least its lookin on the up for you you know anyone that owns a body shop to give the insurance company an overpriced quote on the damages?

flakko replied to avalonasty3627's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
HAHAHHA i loved the end of that comment -
the amp will run coole rand more efficiently if at 8 ohms. you can run them free air in your doors but make sure to deaden the crap out of them and seal them up good.

at least you have the orbital buffer for future projects -
Well, it was just me and Mr. Casey Walsh I thought it was a fun little time. Walked through the factory, there wasnt much production actually, just one guy in the back soldering, and dirk in his lab workin it because the CES stuff was set up in the work room. Ill have pix later on tonight but ill post what i thought was the most informative part of the tour, the interview with JR. This is just the section of the Q&A in which people from the forums asked questions. We talked for a good hour afterwards about different things usamps has been designing, most notably their venture into home audio But that is for another time. the vids might take some time to load, kinda big because i wanted the audio to be good. wow i was just told to temporarily take the vid off. hopefully they will be up again. i still have the hard copies

Did anyone else watch that video? theres a discussion about that at ca.com right now. this is one of my repsonses: http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=274994 (if you dont mind me posting)its a good business move IMO. And it's douche baggery IMO, rating an 800 watt amp at more than double what it puts out is flat out lying. Maybe they should take advice from a respectable company, Sundown has entry level amps as well, the SAE series, yet they are still under rated, the SAE-1000D by more than 100 watts. Its the sign of a company who has no ethics, similar to ED. its like comparing apples to oranges. You have to look at this from a business point of view, jacob let me know if i'm wrong here. I assume you get most of your stuff from the internet, learn all your knowledge from forums etc. etc....Its a completely different market than the mainstream. Sundown provides amps to cater to you, the enthusast. It is also priced for the internet to give the enthusast be the best bang for the buck while the owner still gets the green. The Sundown amps AFAIK, goes from factory to jacob to Dealers to customer. The Xterminator line on the other hand goes from factory to usamps to distributor to dealer THEN to customer, so there are more middle men, and more cash gets lost in the middle, however he upside is more product movement therefore more exposure into the market. usamps, has equipment to cater to the enthusiast as well, BUT they need to fill that market in which they can make the REAL money...the low end. the average consumer people dont want high end anymore...they want cheap quick bass. This is why RE failed in bringing their stuff to the B&M dealer networks. Their most of their following was on the net that makes up less than 10% of the market.

the SE's use the same parts same design AFAIK. I think they went down in quality because the online price skyrocketed. I'd do a pair of idq's off that 5-600w. other suggestions are (of the ones ive heard): RL-p <---amazing woofer Infinity Kappa Perfect Dvq
