4 channel amp @ 1k watts
bassahaulic replied to Hell-Razor's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
There are FEW amps that do 1000rms per channel on a 4 channel. Why do you need that? A mono block work better for subwoofers. -
The best option I think is the Fi X's on BlackFiday.

Which Headunit
bassahaulic replied to casedawg350's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
I have also had the X794 and my GF is currently running it. I would put it many steps above the Pioneer. -
Video's are a must!

I had a DD3518 in 9cubes tuned to 32hz. It dug all the way to 22 hz before I would start to worry about it. Btw, this was on a saz1500D at .5ohm. After taking everything into account and given the chance I may have chosen a different subwoofer for the goals that I set but the deal was too good to pass up and the results were nothing short of amazing IMHO. Point being that just stating that a certain subwoofer is garbage when you have probally never even owned one is not cool and very misleading to some of our more inexpirenced members. This wasn't directed toward you ,Duran, in any way. Just thought I would give you a case of the red ass lol. The lower models aren't as SPL based as much, you also need to take into account you had it in 9 cubes, of course the low end will be more pronounced I wouldn't call a 3500 low end by any means. It's a single step below the 9500 series. Which, Duran, you have seen Bret's videos, they get low and nasty.

At 60+ HZ? I was at Finals this year, and I saw no CRX that made me go WOWWW.

I was told this by multiple CRX owners, and have seen it myself.

Only guy to talk to about CRX's on here is Sicweasel when he gets on. And Find Matt Sibley on the USACi forum. His was LOUD. 162's.

amp for two Level 4 XL 15's
bassahaulic replied to Lschevy's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
That's not really enough power for XL's. We got an RF T2K on two XL 15"s and they eat it up. -

Won't happen new, maybe a used amp. You need at least 3,000rms to get them going real good. -
Amp instalation questions. (supplies needed, etc...) help needed along
bassahaulic replied to swagger_wagon468's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
I'd dare say one day you will want a subwoofer of some sort, so why not spend the little extra for the thicker wire now so you won't have to later. -
145.2 @ 38Hz.

I've been getting loud and popular here.

Real question is, what's your budget?
