I'd say as long as the crossovers are fully adjustable, then yes. -
Triple point USACi event 7/16/2011 @ Sidney, MT
bassahaulic replied to bdufner's topic in Competitions & Other Organized SPL/SQ Events
That's DAMN expensive. Triple points are like $30 here..... -
It's a phone.

When it says SPL, it's talking about ALOT of power, high tuning, one note wonders. For music, the box has to be much different. I'd do a 2-2.5 cube box with 40-50^2 port. Around 33-36Hz tuning. That's just a rough idea of what "I" would do.

Looks interesting. Never worked with them though. I may have to order a set to play with.

Thanks, I'm still working on it. Made a new one I'm going to try in the next video.

PM otw to you. nooo dont steal my HU!! lol hey M5 if your willing to sell it, PM me with a price. I don't need another one. But as soon as I get extra cash, I WILL be buying as many 800's and 880's as I can. But my friend needs a good unit. -
That's all power, box, vehicle dependent. Well I hit a 139.8 with an old Kicker L7 10" in the same box that the 12 is goin in i just put a new piece of wood on the front of the box. Oh no, don't do that my man. Build a whole new box for the 12". It's well worth it. The 12" in the 10" box will probably sound like a 10"

Two different woofers require different boxes. No matter how close they may seem. ohhh I know trust me.....I am just saying.... Thats about as good of a comparison you can get besides buying all 3 and testing lol Well the Skar "Should" be better lower as it's Fs is lower. But I see know what you mean.

So, your saying with MT's they are different then all other woofers and don't need magical program to get a box, but all other woofers do? They fact that y'all would even trust a program that much shows a lot about the designs produced form y'all. You still have not specified what you want. Pure SPL numbers? Loud music? No, I'm saying something that was said earlier. You're not the only one with an MT. You could do a quick google search and see what other people have had success with. If you didn't do that then what DID you do? Make up a size and port area? How do you build boxes if you don't model them? He can't just do reasearch. We have NO IDEA what kind of woofers these are (specs wise). We don't know if they're super stiff spl machines or low fs daily beaters. I'd much rather trust a program before I just made up some numbers and tried it. That way I could see that my response would be peaky or saddle shaped WITHOUT having to build a box and test. But how does the program know what's going to happen? It has no clue in reality. It's just saying what other humans have GUESSED would happen and programed it to say....

That's what I was thinking. I really think he would benefit from a 800/880PRS as they are super easy to work, and can be had cheap if a good deal is found. Out of curiosity what would you consider cheap for an 880? Well I paid $250 for my 800PRS with iPod adapter, and my GF paid $175 for her 880PRS without iPod. So around there. -
So? She loved me. BTW lol Good luck...hope you get it. Corporate America in NY is a lot different. I'd be sent on my way if i went on an interview in a polo shirt. Why? This was just for a retail job, I'm a young guy.

Yes you need a 4 channel, or you will have no left/right. All your sound would be in mono in a sense. I personally won't be running anything but a PRS for along while. -
I called him back, told him I've been rocking long hair since before he was 6 years old.
