300 amp Alternator
bassahaulic replied to pmureika's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
If you use a 250 amp fuse, how will the alternators 300amps be able to flow through? The fuse will break. Sounds like a bad time to me. -
Alright, I think I know what I want to do.... Although I tend to change my mind many time about things like this. haha. One E-15 D4 @ 2 Ohms on 500w in 4 ft^3 @ 30Hz with one 6" aero (17" long) which is 7.1 in^2 port area per cube. That's a really small port. Plz read Jacob and I's convo further up the page to understand why. I've never had issues with smaller motor and large ports......

What do you think about type Rs?
bassahaulic replied to Micah Horton's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
It's all about the enclosure, not the sub. You have obviously never heard one in a good enclosure. -

They can get very loud in a properly designed and constructed enclosure. -

I like the idea for sure. I don't need anymore avatars though, I'm happy with the ones I have already. -
First wall in the WaGoN! 4 15" DCONs... :)
bassahaulic replied to swagger_wagon468's topic in Build Logs
Me too. I love the efficient builds. Would be interesting if there was a competition class with clamped power and vehicle size. Stefan was doing big output with not much power for a while. I did a 152.6 on a sea1200. I know I know its a wall. For whatever reason that dosent count. 150 at 34hz with kind of a wall on saz-3500.. YAWN. 150.2@39Hz with 2 12"s on a SAZ2000 with no extra battery and 4awg wiring. In a convertible. SON.- 193 replies

looking for a new head unit.
bassahaulic replied to shadowm891's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
yeah i am looking for a double din dvd player that has built in nav and bluetooth. i want it to play mp3 cd's and even has a usb port for a usb flash drive as well. i like it to be a 5v deck with 3 rca output's for my front and rear speakers and even my sub. i like to be able to control all my bass and trebles from each of my door speakers. i even would like it to have sub control with a custom ssf and a db slope for all my door speakers and even my sub's like my eclipse has. and most of all i want it to have a built in sound processor and eq as well, For $300 you might as well give up on the DD with built in Navi. At least a unit that's worth a fuck. And then, finding a 5v DD with Navi, impossible. And also, I don't know any radio with a built in SSF. For everything you want, I'd be looking to spend $1,000 or more. EASY. -
Looks like stock acceleration.

I think I take good photos for what I'm working with. But jeez, I want a DSLR.

1. Way to much power 2. tinsel lead slap Well we have the gain set to 1/4 the way up. And what can I do to get rid of the lead slap? Gain position is never relative to power out put. I.E. the gain my my DD m3a really IS all the way down, and I still get full power.
