Sundown Audio Amp Review And Amp Lights ?

When an amplifier is pushed to create a signal with more power than its power supply can produce, it will amplify the signal only up to its maximum capacity, at which point the signal will be amplified no further. As the signal simply "cuts" or "clips" at the maximum capacity of the amplifier, the signal is said to be "clipping". The extra signal which is beyond the capability of the amplifier is simply cut off, resulting in a sine wave becoming a distorted squarewave type waveform. Because the clipped waveform has more area underneath it than the smaller maximum unclipped waveform, the amplifier produces more output power. This extra power can cause damage to any part of the loudspeaker, including the woofer, tweeter, or crossover, via overheating. And Kent, are you true Team Sundown?

    I just need to.......

Rant a little right now, I am just so...... i don't even know the emotion I am right now. :suspect: I am laying in bed listening to music, and it gets me to thinking about my old truck that got impounded. Makes me think about the system I had in it, no it wasn't the loudest. But it was mine and had ALOT of blood and sweat in it. 95% of it was paid for by me, and my working. And I just don't see it fair/just that they can take it for one reason not related to anything inside the truck and not let me get ANYTHING out of the truck. I lost ALL my tools, extra wiring, speakers, amps, even my damn school clothes. . i tried several times to get things out and every time they just sent me around town asking different people permission then being told i have to ask someone else. I gave up after the 5th attempt to get stuff out. I mean, i understand them taking the truck. My insurance had expired..... the day before...... but then instantly putting the price to get it over $1000, then when i finally had the money. This is the kicker here, my dads license is expired..... over a year.... and his name is on the registration so he has to have a valid one to do anything..... to get his new one it was almost $700. Which is the ultimate reason I couldn't get the truck. And him not telling me the insurance was cancelled didn't make me happy either. He found out the day it did, and just didn't tell me. And by the time we had that money together, the truck it self was over $1600. So he told me i just wasn't getting it. I knew of a truck like my old one for sale for $1800 and we bought it. I love the new truck. It just makes me sad when ever i listen to music at this point. I think back to the system i worked on for so long. Any way.......i got a new system in the works.... already got my highs amp. SX900.4 should do work on my highs. I got some bass coming though  P.S. I copied and pasted this from USACi forum where i typed it originally which explains some of the :smileys: that don't work

No not to you Duran I hated those L7's with my soul..... I was talking about the DC's, DD's, and other subs I have worked with. I guess since they were all SPL subs is another reason lol

I just don't see how 15"s can play double bass correctly. :shrugs: I just would think they would not be able to move fast enough..... i forgot the technical term for it.

15"s are not made to sound good IMO.... just to make noise. 10"s or 12"s sound good. Although I have seen 3 8"s in a Civic flex the sunroof and sound AMAZING
