I had both windows down and both doors open. I was working in the back of the PT, doing some wiring at my batteries. I was double checking my connections, when I heard a loud thud then some glass falling. I got up and shook the door, only to hear glass rattling inside. Tried to roll it up, made it 4" up and sure enough it was destroyed. I was 100% alone, and have no clue as to why it happened.

They are a little deeper. But I had deeper speakers in there before, with no issues. Having it taken to a glass shop Monday to get a new one, then bringing it back to the shop to pull both door panels and checking clearance and re-tint it.

I was making a joke. lol I know it has to be removed unfortunately, by father-in-law had almost a matching list of things done to his 06 Lariat about a year ago. I also sell auto parts for a living for the next two days, It's been my job to know how things work. haha

The installers at my shop don't use a DD-1. I'll put it this way, find people with the loudest systems in your area. Ask them who used the DD-1.... You'll be surprised at how many didn't use it. But yes, it is very nice to have someone understand it's not the woofers fault that it broke. You're more then welcome to stay here man.

Picking up this new truck tomorrow, it's a 1997 Nissan Hardbody. It has 207,000 miles, with the optional Power Steering and Cruise Control. Just needs a few A/C parts and HID's and she's good to go. Buying a Pathfinder hood for it tomorrow, and possibly 18" 04 Nissan Titan rims. lol

Psh. 158.9 with 16k? lol Got a 157.9 with 5k and less cone area over here. I don't trust any amp that the manufacture says you NEED to run multiple runs of 1/0 into.. -

DD amp is a amp that will appreciate. The NS-1 will not. I believe the Z will also do more power, and run .25ohm more stably then the NS-1.
