I thought of some thing like that but during winter the snow from the stroller would melt on everything. Also would probably damage the box with all the snow and water. There is also a alarm/starter combo now installed. Build the box out of birch and wrap it in vinyl. Could always do that, thanks. Just trying to help you get the most out your vehicle and system.

As long as the boxes are perfect copies of each other, you shouldn't have an issue doing it that way. One thing we have done at the shop is to build a box that takes up the whole back of the truck, left to right and front to back. But it's only 5"-6" tall, and do subs and port on down fire. You then wrap it in carpet and it looks like the factory floor is just raised up a few inches. Helps with thefts too.

I'm very surprised no one mentioned the power handling differences. The SA uses a 2.5" coil, while the GCON uses a 3" coil. That alone should seal up any doubts as to which sub you want.

Well then

Box or wall? And have you ordered yet? You must not know your vehicles potential.

whats the most power a ZCON 15 will handle for 30 seconds

I could see it taking 7500watts of clean power for a SB run...... But expect fucked coils after. -
8 10" GCON's

What people? Anyone who I've seen asking about them, I try to tell them the build quality isn't up to par with even Sony.

Hey Sen, text me man.

I have been trying to tell people about these Brazilian amps.....

L7's can get very loud and sound decent doing it ina large ported box. I had L7's back in the day and they we're pretty nice.
-
He could have sound deadener on the roof and hatch, that alone would change it.
-
A lot of what type of sound you hear isn't based on the subs or the box, but A LOT of it has to do with the vehicle. And what it will reproduce. Especially with an SUV, the rear hatch and roof will determine what you can play.
-
Their amps need upgrades. lol

As I stated. I will make sure this man is setup properly and trained on how the equipment works, and it's limits.
-
I can safely say I've got this one covered, he's a local, probably no more then 30-40 minutes away. I'll make sure he gets setup properly.
-
What's the goal for your system?
-
It's a very stout amp, and can do up to 5k on the right electrical. How good is the deal?
-
We were not trying to force you to run 18"s, simply saying that they can/do sound just as good as any other speaker. Based upon your measurements, you can much more easily fit 15"s, since you only have 36" wide. I would highly recommend SSA speakers though, they have exceptional build quality, power handling, and response. And thank you for the compliment Aaron.

You didn't hear that from anyone who has used 18"s in their proper enclosures designed and built properly, I can promise that much. Here ya go, SSA ZCON 18". 1750 RMS, oodles or motor force. and sexy to boot. http://store.soundso...-subwoofer.html

I built an 18" box once......

I have 18"s, and I'm tuned to 40hz. I wish they sounded good and I could play into the upper 20Hz range...... oh wait....... They do and I can WTF......
