The amps will do 2000+ strapped, the 1800 watt rating is VERY conservative. I have been talking to Jacob and strapped is what I am doing.

I am so impressed with my SAZ-1000D's output power that I am ordering another Friday or Monday. But here is where I am stuck. Should I run them strapped at 2 ohm, or one amp on one woofer at 1ohm each. I am just wondering the benefits of running strapped, or if their are none why shouldn't I? P.S. I got 1032.53 watts with rise to 1.8ohm and drop from 13.5v to 12.9v.

Think is........ I have a huge show on the 20th and 21st. Not really enough time to get a maxxlink or any line driver for that matter. I was just asking more then anything if anyone saw a big problem with strapping them.

Anyone ever heard of a brand called Brand X?

i have to agree i dont like the look to well to be honest......i just wonder if they actually do what they are rated at...seems that they might by their fuse ratings No...... I doubt they ever will. they don't even give an RMS. -

No -
I have been thinking of that, but I have a Y splitter already on the subwoofer output on the radio.... it's a one channel output. I don't want to weaken the weak ass 2volt pre out even more. And I can't get a Line driver soon enough for a huge show coming up

This will be a dumb question If I run each sub with it's own amp, Can I use the BR out to the BR in of the other amp and avoid using another set of RCA's?
-
I am not to worried about something bad happening, I am REALLY careful with my Sundown amps. And if something does go wrong then so be it. Which do you yall would offer more power?

You can get 15Hz-20Hz ported Tune LOW Good choice for woofers, in drop in testing the 08 L5 was .4-.8 db louder then the 08 L7. -
He's working on 6 now btw. In a non-wall To the OP, there is a guy on youtube, singaboy311, who has an Eclipse. He would be the guy to talk to about it. He has/had two TC Sounds 18"s and 4 SAZ-3000's. He could help you. Send me a PM and I could get you his info.

You can't count on box rise.... because the second you play a note below the boxes tuning the ohm load drops

how do i attain 17.9 volts
bassahaulic replied to jfin1204's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical

Hmmmmmmmmm you could....... pull the coil...... put a quad coil in there..... THEN do 2 SAZ-3500's PER coil.... Or better yet, make a better post. With a clearer question with proper grammar.

System was stolen - what should I do next?
bassahaulic replied to TLM's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
Build a blow through with 4 15"s and a 300LBS box bolt it down to bed and cover the bed. THEN get a RF 360.2 and run your stock H/U......... or an alarm, and if you really want the stock radio use the RF 360.2. -
He said he will post tomorrow. But on fire? wow
-
Average Tinsels can take 60 amps each so 8k should be fine ..... for burps.... You would need ALOT of work on the woofer to make it take it though

What is more important to place deadner on? The outer layer of the door? Or the inner metal where the speaker mounts?
