But he has two woofers an amp, and he says each amp is at 1.4..... sooo yeah. Not D2's, and no offense but learn math.
-
He uses the new Style BTL's. If I had to guess daily option, with cooling, long Xmax coil, and Dual 1.4's Maybe Dual .7's cool, thanks alot! finally!!! im guess there costum made cause i didnt see the dual 1.4 / .7's for an option??? I wouldn't call it custom, I'm sure you can E-Mail Fi and ask for them. Why do you want to be just like Meade?

Whats the depth of an XCON
bassahaulic replied to Lifted07Duramax's topic in Sound Solutions Audio (SSA®)
It depends on what you want out of the system. -
Get rid of cap. What kind of battery? What size power wire? Which Fi woofers? What are you looking for from this system.

sundown saz 2000d 1/2 ohm stable?
bassahaulic replied to nanners's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
I am doing it with a stock alt, a single Yellow Top, and a Single HC2400. 1/0 all over. My drop isn't bad when riding, but pretty bad when idling. But if your not confident in doing it, don't. -
Built the new box today, I am VERY VERY happy with it. It sounds amazing, plays music very accurately, and it MUCH louder then the wall. It is 10.75^3 net, 123^2 of port, and 22" deep. Tuned to 33Hz

Second Skin Promotion - 10 free Door Packs

I'm ordering the pack and a roller tomorrow :-D. I will try to save what deadener I can off the doors now. It's on there all ghetto lol. -
That is what I would expect from Sundown, an Entry level woofer doesn't have to be 150rms with a 1" coil. This isn't a Mainstream company that puts TINY little motors on a woofer. Jacob only makes what he feels is the best he can do for that price/power range.

Running to Batteries !!!
bassahaulic replied to wof131s's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
a run of 1/0 for both positive and negative front battery to rear battery. -
What's wrong with the port? All it is is a big areo port. And why do you care how it looks? Is it going in your whip? And your supposed to capitalize Christmas.
-
If I were you I would drop the SSF down to around 25 maybe even 20. But ZERO bass boost, and you LPF around 55hz or 60hz I would try 6 cubes after all displacements, even still 3 cubes per woofer seems a little small to me.

inline fuse
bassahaulic replied to matt cusack's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
How do you match fuse size to wire exactly? Is there a formula? Personally I don't use fuses except right after the last battery before the amp. -
Looking at getting a battery for the trunk area.
bassahaulic replied to liljestrand's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Look into the Kinetik HC1400 or HC 1800. Those would suit you needs very well. -
Can linked amplifiers connected so they make 0.5ohm
bassahaulic replied to The enD's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
The woofer is rated at "1500" rms yes, but that is VERY conservative. Just to protect the woofer and keep it playing forever. Since your looking for loud, you could easily do a 2000 or even a 3500 on a single NS. Yes, doing this you risk blowing the woofer if your not careful, but re-cones are cheap, and you would head a huge difference from a 1500 to a 3500. -
inline fuse
bassahaulic replied to matt cusack's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
If all he has is a single run of wire front to rear straight into the amp, all he needs is a fuse right after the battery. The fuses should be in accordance to the size of the amp, or to match the amps on board fusing. -
I mean they are badass woofers, built for SPL so they take retarded power. And I'm going to be pushing 4k each to my MT's, so I'm sure the wardens could take 4k each.
-
Really? By more power do you mean more amplifier power, or amperage? Yeah, like a SAZ-4500 PER woofer more power.
-
Your ganna want more power for those woofers. And need two 300+ amp alts. THEN you can park and play.

HELP lost 1 volt?
bassahaulic replied to spbfitz's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
What kind/size of alt do you have? Big 3 I assume? What kind of batts? -
yea i know that, i have 3 4"s now in my current box. but wont be able to fit 2 6"s in the box. unless you can show me a way to do 2 6"s in a 25" w x 16" h x 22" d box tuned to 34 along with a 15" sub, i dont think theyll fit. Can you make the box a little bigger?
-
1 6" is louder then 2 4" aeros. Do 2 6" aeros
-
I wouldn't mix amps like that. And get rid of the capacitor. What are you looking for out of this system?
