    noob entering spl competition.

Anything is possible man. Once you get started going to shows you will get hooked, and you will feel the need to be louder and louder. lol

You'd be VERY surprised as to what can do well at a show. First place in MOD 0-1000 a few weeks ago was like a 144.x, just depends on who enters the class.

Your going to have to find your exact peak before you can street Beat well. So tomorrow, instead of competing Street Beat, do MOD 0-1000. Ask for the disk and play track 18, it should be a sweep as long as it's the official USAC disk. Then they will tell you at what Hz was the loudest. You will get a second run, on the second run go to the corresponding track on the CD to the Hz you peaked and play it. Once you find your exact peak, post it on the forum asking what good SB songs have the same peak. I am sure we can find a good one. Any other questions PM me, or even better E-Mail me at [email protected] I've never heard of this, maybe in SQ this is true. But I know for any MOD/Stock class it's bassed off the 4ohm output of your bass amps.

    re audio mt 18

u didnt need details i just needed to no if u could go sealed or what was the smallest i could go ported Actually yeah you do need to provide details, that is what is stated in the topic posting guidelines. Regardless if you feel you dont need to provide details you do and it will help you plus others reading this topic in the future who may be in the same situation. Just a heads up Even though he didn't provide great details it still did not need that kinda of reply. He could have asked for more details if he wanted them.
  5. Pay attention , no it's won't. It only has 2 RCA pre-outs on back. They can be switched to front, rear, or sub. RCA "Y" adapters wont help me? They would, but you would loose your front to back fade. If you care at all. The ride is a ext cab pick up, all 4 6.5s are in the driver/passenger doors. So, front to back fade doesn't even matter.. right? It shouldn't, as all the speakers are in front you anyway.

John Holmes, stop talking. You could probably get away with 4, I have each of mine in 5 each. From what I have been told, seen with my own eyes, and heard myself 4.5-5 cubes per MT 18" is the best for music.

    It's almost time.

He is talking about the fact I will have so many lol I got these from Johnathen Price, not RD. Steve sold RD anyway. I thought it was one or the other! Are these the same ones Ive seen in his recent videos? They look similar to what is in his truck. Nah, he sold them to me about 2-3 months ago.

    Loudest in 4 cubes?

Pretty much yeah, but I'm sure a single 12" on like 3-4k would get plenty low enough and loud enough for him.

But they are round!!! :-D That's ONE good thing about them... How about the other reasons? They will be running two way active. They will be loud, clear, and accurate.

    What? Lol

    Loudest in 4 cubes?

I'd say they could take 4-5k. My MT's can. If he wants stupid loud AND low, then he has to find more airspace. Simple as that.
  16. bassahaulic

    which would be louder

Lol!!!! Common sense fail. To answer your question the 2 12"s would probably be louder.

AQ 3500 and HDC3 aluminum coil 18". And call it a day. Or RD D9 and a DC Audio Lv5 18" lol

rock fosgate t2500 vs sundown SAZ-3500D

SAZ-3500, That's not even really a fair comparison. Now if you had said like T4k VS SAZ-3500. Would have been better.

    Window Tint Picture Thread

DO NOT tint your windshield if you have stock halogen bulbs........ it will end horribly for you. That's painted rear 3 windows, 5% driver/passenger, and 35% over whole windshield with a 5% strip on top the windshield. And with 55w 6,000k headlights and fog lights everything was fine. Except driving in rain, in dark, with oncoming vehicles. p.s. The rear three where painted right before the wall was put in.

    F150 Lightning build up.

He hasn't had to do anything other than oil changes since he bought it. Thing is still like new, low miles, and well cared for. It's more then "needing" to. Lightnings are notorious for their heads being weak.
