What are your guys opinions
Juice0723 replied to Juice0723's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
And what's your guys opinions of T/A's for a car audio system? My 880PRS has that on it. Changed it around then it made it way quieter and sounded like crap honestly. Not much volume to it. When I increased the inches or cm's. I guess it makes it sound like it's further away from you? -

You guys check out the fatmat? The new one? Not called fatmat anymore really. They just named it Rattle Trap. It's 80mil thick. And sticks more then anything else on the market right now. Rattletrap The videos on Rattletrap look good on youtube. No rattles at all on the cars. Some before and after vids on there as well. These are customer reviews. I could get it for about 250 CDN shipped for 100sqft. I don't really feel like paying $200 not shipped just for 36sqft from second skin. I'm in Canada and they want you to go to a dealer to buy it. -

You guys think I should get some fatmat rattletrap deadening? Only my spoiler vibrates bad. I was thinking of putting a strip of weather stripping between it and the window to make it stop. I was gonna get 100 sqft but when sealed up right now you can't really hear it anyway. 2009 caliber srt4. -

Ok then. So you pay for more quality on the XS Power batts compared to Kinetik. -

I'm looking at the AH on both batts and the Kinetik 2400 has 128AH and the XS D3100 has 110AH. It seems like the Kinetik would be better. But the XS handles the wattage better? -

That's what I thought. See on the first page bassahaulic said "Since you seem set on Kinetik I would do an 1800 up front and at LEAST 2 2400's in rear. " And the 2nd post also said 2-3 batts. Was just gonna get a d3400 up front and a d3100 in the rear. And the 220a alt. At Idle puts out 206 amps. Thought that would be good enough but many are saying two in the back. -

Yeah I looked at that chart. But people are saying to go with like two d3100's in the rear and one small xs batt up front. -

I ordered a 220a alt from Iraggi. Now would two 9a31's in the rear and like a batt sized like a kinetik 1400 or 1800 in front work? It's ridiculous on the shipping for batts to me lol. -

I'm just saying F it and doing my whole stereo at one time. Want it done before June 12th. The stereo comp here is on that day and want to blow the competition away. Cost me about $450 for a single XS Power D3100. And I don't know if that's without taxes. So it's very expensive to buy batts here. A deka 9A31 costs $385.85 with taxes and fees. So I have the choice of getting those Deka's, XS Power, or Kinetik from audiosavings. Or single batts from ssackett from the other forum. Like $200 shipped for each. I think they may be made by sprinter. He said there as big as a kinetik 2000. What would you guys do? -

I'm not set on Kinetik lol. Just using it as a reference on how big the batts will be. At first I was going to get a XS D3400 for the front and a D3100 in the rear. So expensive to ship to northern bc canada. Just figuring out what would be best right now. -

Ok, if you guys say it won't void my warranty I will get that alt. Now what kind of batteries should I get and how many? Would just a kinetik 1800 up front and 2400 in the rear work? I need some opinions to make sure this is done right. -

Only company that I seen makes one is Iraggi. Iraggi Caliber Alt I just think it would void my warranty. What you guys think? And will 220A be enough? There is no cheap way to run 4k. You HAVE to get a h/o alt. I am 100% sure someone makes one, or could make one. -

I'm asking what I should do with my electrical. I never bought any electrical yet. Just trying to figure out what to buy for the cheapest cost. I don't want to void my warranty. So what could I do to handle the 4k? -

Well I'm going to lol. Got my subs being custom made right now to handle 4k. And getting thumper to make the enclosure. -

Well I don't think I could get a h/o alt. Since they don't make them yet for my car. And don't want to void my warranty. Was thinking like a kinetik 1800 up front and kinetik 2400 in the rear with my stock 140A alt. But that might not cut it I don't think. How many runs back to batts? Just shipping is so expensive for me for XS & Kinetik. One Deka 9A31 costs $385.85 CND with taxes and fees. What would you guys do now? -
Twin 15" Xcon Dodge Dakota X-Cab ( PTS Hybrid Horn )

That's very nice. Amazing work. -
I hit 146.3 with the two 10's. I am looking to use a sundown 3500 on two 12" Dc audio level 4xl's as well.
-
Hey, whats the biggest subs you guys think that will work good in my hatch? Its about 39" wide. Top of back seat headrest to the curve at the back, depth is about 18-19". Depends on how high you go from the floor. Floor to the back of the headrest is 16.5-17". I was thinking about doing two 18" Xcons with a sundown 3500. But I don't think I have the room. I would like to be as loud as possible and sound good. Thanks.
-
I'm upgrading from my two 10" Phoenix Gold Rsdc's. I won my first comp with those. Took a guy out that had two 15" rockford t1's off some rockford power amp. Well I like my setup very well. I have heard two W7's, I liked that as well. Because I like feeling the pressure in my ears and feeling the bass in your throat. And to blur your vision.
-
Yeah I am leaning towards the two 12's. I was thinking DC audio as well for subs.
-
Alright I might just go with two 12's then. But I don't know if I'll get the loudness I want but still sound good. I am wanting to try two 12" Xcon's off a sundown 3500. The main reason I want it loud is for next summer. There is going to be a sound comp in my city. I just wanted to have the loudest and cleanest setup there. What you guys think?
-
Hey guys, I was wondering which one of these two subs would be better for me. It's either the 18" Xcon or the 18" Nightshade. Only $50 difference between the two right now. I'm going to get two. Probably get powered from a saz-3500d. If no deal on another amp comes around. Main goal is to do hair tricks and shake other vehicles at comps. Thanks.
-
would a single powermaster d3100 be enough for the saz-3500d?
-
Probably sound good and getting loud. I would like more. I was originally going to go with the Xcon. But then the sundown deal came up. I really like how the Xcon looks as well. I would think two 18" Xcons will do hairtricks pretty well.
