Look what this fool said: "Have u been to an iasca event? i think not. thats how its been done here for years. its not up to u and ur buddies how its run. this isnt the dudaward invitational sound off"
-
Crossfire VR4000D. in sig. Also two custom made 12" subs. DC Level 5 soft parts.
-
you should go on Facebook shizzzon and tell them that I'm completely right. It's a event page for the sound off. just say your a record holder and shit lol. I'll give you a link if ya want.
-
I also know I should win either way. If I get my stuff before June 12th. I'm going to be running 4k rms. No one up here in Northern BC Canada has a system with that much wattage. People here are running around 1k to probably 2k rms here on mainstream subs on prefab boxes and shitty custom ones they built.
-
How could I do that? I am going to make them switch the rules for this. I don't care about the sq part since it will be obvious who will sound better. I'm just pissed on how these guys think they know how to run this. They have no experience. Just saying they went to sound comps. But they were no name sound comps. Not sponsored or anything. I am going to use my ipod either way.
-
That's what I was thinking. But I only could play ipod as well. They said no one could use their ipods for it and only use their disk provided. Like they said people will have a advantage using a ipod. Another thing that pisses me off. most people skip like crazy.
-
How would I get them to use tones or something though? Like this is the only sound off up here sadly. That's why I want to go. This guy is saying he went to these random sound comps. They use their same song for every car. And this wasn't his first. I know he hasn't been to any sanctioned events like USACi or anything. I was thinking to maybe give him the rules for a actual sanctioned event?
-
But these guys running it are noobs and just told me the song will have lots of low bass on it. They won't let us know what songs are picked. I told them I could supply a official USACi CD. Then another guy said: "chances are that it will be a disk from the judge not a competitor.just like all other comps" But there is no one up here that knows anything about car audio. They think JL audio is the best and stuff. So if I know my setup is louder then the other guys. But I lose because of my subsonic filter wtf.
-
I don't think they will even tell me the random ass song they are going to use. If I'm tuned high my subsonic filter will cut the bass out. They said the song they picked has alot of low end bass.

No one could get a hold of Dominick. Hopefully I get my refund and another guy on the SMD forums said his alt doesn't even fit his car. And another guy on their forums ordered a alt on may 2nd and still hasn't heard from Dominick as well. He paid for it too.

2009 Dodge Caliber Srt4. 2.4L turbo engine.

shipping problems?
-
4000 watts rms @ 2ohms. 284watts rms per door. probably not using that much for the doors though.
-
I'm just trying to get a full refund. Like I need it right now. And a person on the SMD forum got a hold of him 2 days ago which is the same day I was phoning.

Does it make one speaker more quiet as well? Doesn't seem as loud. When I start doing it. I will try later to do what you said. -

And would two runs of positive and one negative run back to the rear battery good enough? Using Knukonceptz Klmx 1/0 wire. Using 240-250 Amp fuses on positive runs. By the rear and the front batts. Also would one run of that wire be good enough for alt to positive batt with a 250A fuse between? 220A alt, 206A at idle. Thanks for the help so far. -

Got them installed in the doors. Tweeter and mid. The component set is the ppi 356CS. My gto75.4ii is bridged giving 284watts rms per door. Not the whole power though. I just go to where it sounds the best and mids don't max out. -

Yeah it's good priced product from Dom. I just don't know if I'll get it in time. Need everything before June 12th. The sound off date. I ordered my XS Power batts today. I got a whole bunch of stuff being shipped to me right now. Hopefully it gets here in time. Like my wire from Knu and alt from iraggi. Those items are furthest away from me. How do I do the t/a. My deck manual just says use the mic. Which you buy separately. I could adjust it manually. So first off. I pick inches or centimeters? Then which side do I add to? I'm guessing the left side since it's closer to you. And how do you figure out how many inches to put on there. -

Yeah I know lol. Just did it quick. Then made one side sound lower then the other. Does everyone get better staging with a t/a? -

Time alignment can be a very useful feature depending on your specific installation and your goals. You want to delay the speakers closest to you so that the sound from the speakers arrive at the listening position at the same time. This will improve the stereo's staging and imaging as well as general "coherence". But you need to understand how to properly use it to reap it's benefits. Did you follow the instructions in the manual for setting the time alignment? No I just tried using the time alignment to see what it does. -
