FI please remember to add the shipping address to your shipping labels! not just the city and state grrrr... Was looking forward to my Q, guess I get to wait a bit longer until UPS figures out my address. Hopefully you guys are not out on Vacation... I need to vent

Looks very clean. Very nice job. BL's for daily!

I just called them up looks like the address was put down incorrctly Available for pickup WOOT! Time to go pick up my sexah Q. You are now looking at the proud owner of a 12q. Thanks for putting up with my mild ranting moodiness . So, now what to do about a box....

"A CORRECT STREET NUMBER IS NEEDED FOR DELIVERY. UPS IS ATTEMPTING TO OBTAIN THIS INFORMATION" This made me cry. I would bet money the drvier was too lazy to drop by my house. I'm last on the route, and decided to do that. I've had them say I wasn't home for signature before, when I was home the entire day... Maybe it's a UPS booboo. Certainly wouldn't be the first time eh.

LOL, great to hear. Not trying to boost sales, are we? Speaking of I have a re-cone question for mike... Time to type an email up.

Any input would be appreciated. In the market for some new drivers. Since I've had so much success with the RL-i8, I thought I would try out the 10s . Option 1.) 3 RL-i10's. Sealed .48ft^3 net volume each. 433 watts rms each. Orion 1200d @ .67ohms. Option 2.) 2 RL-i10's. Sealed .53ft^3 net volume each. 650 watts rms each. Orion 1200d @ 1ohm. Main question is about the Orion. Will it be stable @ .67ohms. I don't know how impedance rise effectively changes in a small sealed box. I don't see the enclosure space difference of .05ft^3 effecting much low end output. Any thoughts? Advice? Opinions? Love to hear what you guys would suggest Thanks Adam

I'll try and ask this @ Ca.com good luck with getting an answer eh lol. Can't view the forum from work anymore, so that put a damper on asking a couple questions...

poly fill in a sealed enclosure...question
tRiGgEr replied to Amish Marauder's topic in SoundSplinter
Only thing I see you gaining is a bit of low end extension. This is normally the only reason to add polyfill. When your space is limited and you can't build a larger box. It will help the speaker perform like it would in the larger box. In a larger box power handling would be decreased. It will not take as much power to reach full motion. tRiGgEr -
Awsome mike. They look sexy and hope they sound equally sexy

Serious man. Mike will update everyone by email. Send him an email requesting to be on the list. You don't have to bump this all the time.
-
Better not be. I wanted to grab a couple of them from him before he went back up north
-
Looks like I'll be getting them shipped this time. Unless Mike wants to make a trip down to Diego and I can meet him at the build house *wink* *wink*.

My money is in teh bank. If I carry cash, I want to spend it.

I for one can't wait. I loved the old RL-i8 and if the new ones are any better I'm definitely getting 2 or 4 of em.

You're not understanding the concept of this woofer. It seems as though it has been skewed by those who do not have first hand experience but base their opinions strictly on assumptions, which is dangerous. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> enlighten us.
